Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

Thanks vicki! I do not have tractor supply. I will check fleet, and research de soon as I have time!

Yuckweeatthat?!!!!!

Amazon.com has it and I think EBay too. I stock up on stuff when I have to go to my Onc in Green Bay. We take a detour and hit the Shawano TS on the way home. I always have to make sure I have a pocket full of money when we go. I always find a ton of stuff!!!

Morning! JJ I am not even telling DH about it! LOL--we gust got rid of our huge one that I got him for Christmas last year...he gave it to the kids for their new place! He was afraid that I would be upset but I said It's yours, if you want to give it away so be it! Sounds like a good deal though!

Just wanted to say good morning...I have to get off to work--NOW!
Have a great day--lovin' this weather! TerriO

What's his cell # ? I will be glad to let him know.

You'll be sorry when he pays more and brings home the same TV.

I will even deliver and only charge a couple chickens.

I am not sure if it is food grade but Jung Garden centers sells Diatomaous Eearth, I use it around the base of the house to keep the earwigs at bay, and sprinkle it liberally in the nest boxes.

TO I noticed one of the cuckoos has developed a longer greenish tail feather could she be a he? Seems bigger than the gimper. BTW she is still limping but I have been treating her with penicillin and the swelling is there no longer. She eats happily, doesn't seem to be in noticable pain so long as she doesn't have to run for her life I am letting her be.

Wow.... where was everyone today? I popped in a couple of times and heard an echo!

Well, I don't have much to say myself. The solo chick is dead. It was in the brooder pen with mom and was eating when I locked up last night. Went to check the birds when I got up and didn't see it. Mom looked agitated so I let her out and dug through the shavings. Yep, it was dead. I wonder if she got tired of it and killed it? It was her first hatch. The baby turkey is doing OK.

That's it.... Night All!

Hmm - were you in sales in a past life??? If not, you may want to give it a try

Morning all!
No chatter from us northerners last night because the internet went down.

Nothing new up here. Just wait ing for the guys to arrive with our new furnace.

Still a tiny bit of tissue/blood from Pepper this morning. Sure she needs a second round of worming. Tempted to not wait the full 10 days but I know I need to stick with the schedule.

I sold cars for a while. I was HORRIBLE! I could not help but tell people the truth about what their car was really worth and what I could sell them a car for and they hated it.

Most wanted to be lied to or to be worked by a "salesman" It was depressing.

I was in sales for a couple of years and it is a tough gig for sure! BUT - it sure is nice to know the tactics when your on the consumer side of the game.

Glad to hear your little cuckoo is doing better !

BTW - food grade DE is a very common product used in dairy and horse barns so just about any feedmill or feed store carries it and a LOT cheaper than Jungs.
