Cind, the ring picture I posted is just an example. It is not the right one for the grinder I have or I would have made a bid.

Forecast temps for this weekend are upper 40's and possible 50's. All I have to say on that is IT'S ABOUT D@MN TIME!

No fair I am forecast to have SNOW tomorrow and Wednesday.

Still not finding much on the grinder. Wonder if the company went out of business or was bought out by a competitor.....Still gonna search for something.

Good morning all--have just a minute, as usual!
I dont even have my trees tapped yet H&R! (thanks for the extras Cuties!) It was just too darn cold this weekend to go out there and do it. All my trees are on the North side of the house so they dont get very much sun. The ground is still covered with snow on that side! (MUD everywhere else...which is frozen today!) I cant believe the high is 25 today...sheesh, will this ever end? 40-50s sounds really nice BL4--IF it happens!

Chilly Afternoon All...Universal owns most of the different grinder names...ebay has a lot on there for sale...

Zeke, was that you going by the turnoff for Camp going South about 1:30....I was coming back from checking the facilities out after the weekend...I shoulda had my camera along for a pic of the road going in for you folks that only see it in the green...easy 2 feet of snow here yet.

Vicki-I was channeling a part of you today LOL, I made choc chip cookies (your style) adding flour & other ingredients without measuring and using dark choc chips! I'm still trying to get those fluffy cookies that you & I made (well you mixed them, I just helped get them on the pan and eat them). These are close needs a little more flour and baking powder.

I spent the better part of the afternoon adding cat litter to old latex paint cans that were here when we moved in. DH & I also took the full 5 G. buckets to Ace for them to dispose. It'll be nice when our garage is clean, organized and not loaded with crap.

I clipped my first set of hen nails yesterday. I couldn't believe how long they were. None of the others have long nails, just that one. Similarly, I have one orp (my lav) that has no lower belly feathers. I checked for mites, etc and there are none. I think she just plucked 'em out. I'll have to check the rest tomorrow. They all really need a bath but it's too cold to do that yet.

Did you have to give Ace money to dispose of the 5G bucket of paint? I wonder if you can take an almost empty 5G bucket and dump all the left overs in it and have them dispose of it - Any idea if this works?
