H&R, what kind of pullets and how soon are you looking to get rid of them? Also, how old are they?

I am going to the Portage show and might be interested in a few pullets.

They are Andalusian- splash, blue and black- some were hatched in Jan, Feb and March- we pretty much ran them all together- there are a couple pullets who are laying eggs-small ones

...not a huge rush...just hoping to get the numbers down by fall

When is the Portage show again?

Dora is still hiding..

I was lifting up on a stump with the loader & bucket, suddenly, my front axle broke. Now I am searching for a new axle, and then have to figure out how to raise the front of the tractor to get the old one off and new one on..

everything is at a stand still until I get that tractor fixed ..

Look who we wound up with! He is 12, and was a girls horse who is now off to college. He is super friendly. And settling in quite nicely.
Sadly, he seems to like hubby the best so far!

Oooo very nice Cuties!

I will say one thing for this rain: it makes pulling up milkweed much easier. Yes I know it is beneficial for the Monarchs, but the stuff is taking over my front flowerbeds and needs to be removed.

I did get one bed finished, then the dang yellow jackets came out for the milkweed sap so I had to quit. I will try to get the second one finished today if it is not too hot to do so.

Miss, try pullingnin the evening. Theyshould be very slow by then. Poor Brownie. He is socially inadequate. The new horse is being very patient! But Brownie just does not know how to behave. He is going to be in his stall for a bit. We are heading off to do some 4-h volunteer ing




Thanks goodness the gelding is set to go! Lol

Cooties, good choice.. I am not a fan of small horses.. I assume he is gelded ..

Dora is still missing,, Annie said she is not under the white truck.. I D K .. we will just have to wait until she gets thirsty and hungry .. the last time she had pups, it took over 24 hours.. so I am not worried too much, yet..

we had the lean to all bedded with straw and waiting for her..
