Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

Kristi, there is a plug in fence system that is fantastic. The main unit plugs in an outlet inside the house, and creates a dome perimeter that you can adjust. The dog wears a collar that will warn then shock when the dog leaves the dome. Usually it does not take long for the dog to figure it out and they stay where you want them to.

Venison chili for dinner tonight. Topped it off with some Habanero Jack. Yummy!
how big of a dome can you create ? I would like a dome of about 5oo feet in diameter..
who sells these units ? inquiring minds want to know ..

Good evening--just finished some delicious fried rice! Started with a recipe...finished with something all together different! This is the first time I made it in cast iron---nice difference~just something about that stuff. I may get rid of my stainless yet!

Darn horses took their blankets off of the fence and trampled them in the mud...thinking they will be plenty chilly tonight and for the next few days. I need to have DH pick up my Dad's power washer...then I will have my own and can get some stuff done! Speaking of: today I spent the whole day outside cleaning coops etc. My pigeons were kinda freaked having bedding! The top cage is even plastic covered...too bad I didnt have enough time or supplies for the back cages.

BBP I love the look of those Frenchies! There is a trio that comes to the dog park--they have such funny personalities. If I was to get that type of dog I would get a Boston. We fostered one and he was a riot!

Brent that is quite a deal to get them processed for 3 bucks! NOt hardly worth doing it yourself (even if you have a Plucker by Jim!) Better get on that new one Jim...dont want to have to re-cipher all the details! Why do you want to do one sans hardware? Is it sturdier or do you just want the challenge?

Guess I better stip chatting and head out to close up...I really wanted to do it in the light tonight...time got away from me again! I am just glad that after 4 days off of work I actually got something done today! Sick again! (but better today)

Have a great night--what's left of it that is! TerriO

They do look great...half acre range is,not bad...but price,...$250-300 is,rough. Still cheaper than underground professional stuff...

Hmm...

Lots of dream dogs out there, but planning one that is kid friendly, smaller, not a bird dog, and the words non shedding also seemed wonderful...our teddy bear is pretty good. Very little shih tzu in him, more poodle, ( face and intelligence). Hard to potty train at first because he was over four months when we got him...but getting better every day

Yes,, and yes,,

they are stronger, a little bit more challenging to build.. and waaaaay more nice looking ..
I like the math it takes to figure it all out ..
unique wood joinery always interested me..

I will check on those dome wireless fences.. If I can keep the dogs within that dome, then I won't have to keep Gus tied up anymore..

TO, my husband wants a Boston Terrier. I just don't like them for some reason. They're kind of ugly. The Frenchies are so funny, but I don't have $2,000 to spend. My son wanted a pug or pekinese. I like normal dogs with long noses, long tails and lots of fur (shelties mostly). But it will be nice to have kind of a lazy one. We don't have a fenced in yard and maybe it won't kill my chickens?

I am thinking if selling an old cedar chest I have had since a child...hope chest at least forty years old... Minor scratching and wear...what would you charge?

Hi All!

Got a little work in the coop done, not as much as I would have liked, but something.

Cuties.... See if you can get an idea for prices from Ebay. But in the end, it's worth what someone is will to pay.

Guess there's nothing else..... Night All!

good chilly morning,

have to go get gas for Ollie,, then sub bowl for my sister who thinks a clean house is more important than her commitment to her team,, she owes me for not telling her team mates why she is not showing up.. I am thinking ; a pie maybe ?

I wonder if my truck will start.. I won't be doing any of the above if it doesn't ..

the pups are growing visibly every day.. they will be cute when their eyes open ..

Last night I started doing calculations for my next plucker. I have a few of the parts sketched out on paper.. I don't do formal blueprints,, all I need are my calculations and notes..

Go feed 'em if you got 'em,,
