Oh no! Zeke was a great guy and we will miss him so very much! Our thoughts to his family and friends.

Terrible news...just about as bad as it can get....Zeke you will be missed buddy! He made two bashes in a row.....last year was a nice surprise when he showed while working. This is just hard to swallow..... He loved life....so sad.

afternoon,taking a Cream Soda break..

I got the whole plucker frame dry fitted together,, Now I have to knock it all apart and glue all the mortise and tenon joints as I put it back together,, 16 joints in all ,, that should take a couple of hours,..

the puppies' eyes are open,, will take some pictures soon,,
they look like miniature polar bears.
.
they are just starting to realize that they have legs.. they are using the front legs, but they haven't looked behind themselves to realize that there are two more back there..

birdman , have you considered using an old refrigerator or upright freezer for your incubator box ?
double wall insulated.. poke a couple of vent holes in there and you are all set to go ..

yes I have and im talking with a guy that sells used appliances...if I cant find one ill prolly just build it and hard styro around the box...prolly will be lighter...and I have to downsize a bit prolly half the size of the current one and ill make two of them so I ll have stable temps...until I feel comfy with them builds then ill make a huge one...better two have different ones as well cause different birds require different incubation..

How very sad that we lost Zeke. He was a very nice guy and he will be missed. :-(
