ONE DOSE OF PEROXIDE WON'T HURT ,, BUT CONTINUED USE PREVENTS HEALING..Hello everyone...
I feel terrible. Last night when I closed the stall door for my flock (they are in a box stall) one of my Wyandottes got her toe stuck in between the door and wall and floor (right in the corner by the hinge). The skin seems scraped a bit but the toe doesn't appear broken, and wasn't bleeding when I checked it.
Like I said, I feel terrible as I close the door slowly, and have no idea how it happened...
Anything I can do for care? I didn't do anything last night as it wasn't bleeding but if I can catch her this morning, I plan to wipe it with peroxide.
Thanks everyone.
