Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

Gotta Love hunting down eggs. I once found a next with 23 eggs in it this summer. Darn birds I tell ya. I have some pullets just laying their first eggs this week and they've been so good. I love the age variety. Hope if helps to keep the egg flow

Toilet area is looking more and more like I want. But I do have to go back in as realized lastnight I never made an opening to flush the dang toilet. Good thing I left the board behind toilet moveable.

Started the portion that will connect to my original addition, also extending out the bathroom 4 feet to house the claw foot tub.

Anellias bedroom floor is down and rough framing of her bed and loft.

Some of my thrift store finds.

This was my aunts and she spent a ton of money on it. Didn't want anything too modern in the house but couldn't let it sit in the shed anymore. A friend suggested putting a curtain over it when not in use.

Library nearly complete

My old Jamesway top i found in the oatshed at the farm turned into a light.

Can ya'll tell me what and where to get something to keep water from freezing in the waters that are plastic? All I have been able to find are heaters that are only to be used with double walled tin.

You have to have a special pen for breeding? I thought they just did that wherever.

yes, they breed where ever..
the pens are to separate the different breeds..
if you have pure breed leghorns for instance, you do not want a delaware to breed with them,, so you take the leghorns and isolate them from the rest of the breeds..
you don't need pens exactly,, any way you can segregate them will work..

I have a small ceramic heater that I use to add a little heat to the coop.. I direct the blower directly at the water jug from about a foot away,, works most of the time..
