Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

I'm back from hunting and have a nice antlerless one hanging in the pole barn. I was lucky and made a perfect heart shot. Thanks for the good luck's sent my way....it paid off with a great harvest. I'll be skinning and cutting tomorrow before the pack plays the Lions. Time for a long neck or two.

Hi All!

Nice pic... hope you get the frame done.

All this talk of deer! Gee I hope 2nd son gets lucky and brings us a bit this year.

Night All!

good morning wisconsin,

there is a game in Green Bay today,, I hope the Packers show up..

I have a bit of tractor work to do today,, adding some things to the burn pile..

have a couple of dog-dug holes to push dirt back into,, they dig them up again, but after about the third time, they give up..

Zeke is getting used to being tied up, and he is coming out of his shell a little more each day..
Yesterday he didn't run and hide when I came driving into the driveway.. He actually stood his ground and waited for me to get out of the truck.. that is a big step for him, who used to dive under the tool truck whenever a car just turned into the driveway..

at 7:3o the rooster stood under my bedroom window and did some crowing.. I was awake anyhow so I got up..

GO PACK<<<or at least make a good showing,,,

..........jiminwisc............

ETA: got the outside work for today done,,
Now I am going to make a list of PEX fittings that I will need to re-do the laundry room water pipes..
then it should be game time ..

Hello everyone.

I recently lost most of my flock to a weasel and I'm looking to hopefully purchase another rooster for the hens I have left. If you or anyone you know is looking to sell a buff orpington rooster (and even a hen to pair with him) please let me know. I'm not as concerned with age as I am temperament. We fixed the weak spots in the coop so this won't happen again.

Wow the hell with this game. Lookin like a bunch of scrubs. Too much yard work to get done with this gorgeous weather to be sitting here exercising my blood pressure.

I did contact one person on there just haven't heard back yet so I thought here would be a good next search.

My vet offered me a replacement rooster, but I wanted to see if there were any buff orps out there beforehand. I just loved mine so much and I like the breed in general.

Way to go bigz!

Jim, sorry, the Packers apparently forgot there was a game today- especially Davante Adams.

@BayBay Peepers are you on facebook? There is a Wisconsin Chicken Buy/Sell/Trade page on there as well; it might be a good place to look.

I made shrimp and bean enchiladas for dinner tonight- it will likely be enough to last us the entire week! I also made homemade caramel corn and cranberry nut bread earlier today. The holiday season gets me into the kitchen. Hubby cleaned out the chicken coop; it was overdue. It is hilarious when it's clean; they are always so suspicious of it. Luckily a handful of scratch or some mealworms gets them in every time.
