My birds didn't venture out at all today, hehe. Just hanging out in the coop. I've changed their water several times as the heated one isn't quite keeping up! Good news is I've made a lot of progress on the ice rink for the kids.

Hi, I am spending the lull between the games with you..

I watched the Vikings choke themselves into a loss..

Meanwhile, I tried making another loaf of Brent's beer bread.

I modified it so that I can remember the recipe..

3 1/2 cups of flour
1/4 cup of sugar
1 Tablespoon of baking powder
1 teaspoon of salt
16 ounce can of Miller .

1 egg for wash.

I let the loaf rest for about 20 minutes until the oven got up to 375F.

I baked it for exactly 45 minutes.

this time I baked in on a piece of parchment paper on a pizza pan.
.

It turned out just beautiful.

I think the reason it was so thick and tough crusted last time was because I added too much salt to it.
And the baking sheet I used was a thick aluminum cookie sheet.

I would have taken a picture, but this is not Face Book ..

Zeke got out of his new harness.. He is hiding under his favorite truck again.
we will have to capture him and tie him with the chain again..

5:00 left in the game,but I think I'm safe to say the Pack did it.
If they looked like this all season,they'd be playing these games at home.

Ahh,I know the feeling. I work Monday through Friday nights. You must work Sun. through Thursday nights?
I always have to stay up all day on Saturday if I want to see the Badgers play though.


I always love when I hear "Go Pack Go!' from the crowd when the Pack plays on the road.

Yep I work Sunday night thru Thursday night at merit gear. It's a division of rexnord which is down by you I believe.

this was a good game to watch.. sort of like the old Packer team we used to know..

I have to get back upstairs.. I just let the dogs in and there is nobody up there to watch over them,,

Zeke made the mistake of coming in,, now I can tie him up again..

Annie is going to take that harness back to Petsmart ..

At work thinking about my girls. Hoping they're staying puffed up and keeping each other warm. I could worry myself sick over my girls....I couldn't imagine having real kids.
