good morning,

not much on the agenda for today.

taking the pickup to pickup some soffit material from Homdepo .

putting it up is easy, preparing to put it up is going to be a beatch

anybody got an old bed spring I can use to smooth drag my new lawn area ? people used to throw them away.

Annie has a lot of cockatiels. she sells them when she can.
some people actually request the babies almost as soon as they hatch, they think that hand feeding them makes them more friendly toward people. I don't buy it .

We used to have a couple cock-atiels. They were mean as a mother. It's amazing something so small and delicate can be such a little dink. One flick to the gourd and I could ruin their weekend so why are they like that??

If you have the time to spend on them, and handle them a lot, they can be quite tame and entertaining,
we do not handle ours much , if at all..  they bite like crazy when they get caught.
My nephew has taken one here and there and made good pets out of them..  
I don't mess with them.
I hear they taste like Canada goose ..,

I've been out trying to get a taste of a Canada goose. I haven't seen but 5 birds all day. Maybe the evening will produce

Had some neighbors that are part of the Slow Food chapter come over because they wanted a tour of the garden. I don't know if they saw the potential or just a hot mess.... Slow and steady, right?

I dreamed that I burned the brush pile. really looking forward to the real thing .

I picked up all the soffit material yesterday from HomDpo..
have a lot of prep work on the house before I can get it installed, though.

Next Thursday my 6 POL pullets are arriving at the Marathon Feed Mill. I am not sure what breed they are bringing. there were a few choices, depending on availability .
I have these black production hens right now. Most of them are not laying anymore. I think I will put them on C>list and see what I can get for them.

I also have an Old English game rooster. pure breed. I will give him away to anybody , He is no more than 2 years old..
