Yeah me too. It's weird he hasn't been on in days....in a better note i got my free snowmobile running!! Cost me fuel lines and a fuel pump. 28 bucks and I have a running sled for ice fishing
Just a heads up that Jim's puter is down and at the fix-it shop....he will be glad to hear he is missed when he gets back on. We worry you know when you don't check in!
The Godfather. Lol! Egads, I have a feeling we won't be forgetting that one anytime soon.
Not much new here. Chickens are loving this weather despite the fog. They have been running around outside every day. Less crapping in the coop in winter is always a plus!
Babysitting the grandson this weekend. Let the fun & games begin.........
I'm not entirely sure if this is thhe proper place for this post, but I'm using my phone and not navigating the forum so easily. I am in the southeastern corner of the state (near burlington) and am picking up 40 assorted layers around Feb 9th. I'm interested in adding 2 or 3 birds to the new flock that are "something new" I've mostly dealt with production breeds/common heavy brown egg layers. I'm wondering if there is anyone somewhat nearby (50 mi?) that will be hatching anything early/middle February? Some cold tolerance is obviously neccesary. Anyway, thanks for having me!
Glad to hear Jim is ok too, funny how you get used to "seeing' people on here. Still no eggs, going on about week 3 I think, so I am starting to give additional protein to see if we can kickstart it again. Mealworms smell. Just saying.
Love having you Patch, and I'm sure if someone can help you out, they certainly would be happy too.
Fighting all the ice here on the long driveway.....plenty of wood ashes used surly help the cause....finally some honey comb developing on the slope....one had to be careful, just to check the mail. We prolly have 2 feet of snow on the ground and walking anywhere off the paths would require snowshoes here....bring on Spring and all it's wonderful glory.
Putting up more trim this evening and tomorrow. Gosh I hate trimming stuff that isn't square in the least. Makes for a lot of putting up and taking down and cutting. Oh well the end result is supposedly worth it.....idk that for sure tho cuz this is my first rodeo. Taking a break and eating a piece of slutty cheese cake. Strange name but it's ridiculous good.
Playoff Sunday again....GO PACK GO.....let the shootout begin and end in our favor!
Forgot to mention way to go on the fixed sled cw.... and I'd love the recipe for that slut...LOL!
