Sorry for laying some of my BS on you guys and then seem to be ignoring all that you guys have going on believe me I'm not, just no time to respond or comment which is probably for the best anyway. TO I agree, a lot of times I look over at her in amazement and she's still here. I've told her that I don't think she's very bright for doing so.

Jim glad you got back on the sleep train! Too tired to type anymore.....

Urgh is it Spring yet? This is the first Spring in our own home. We bought the house on June 25th so it was a bit late in the season. This year I can plant whatever I want! I can't wait! Any recommendations?

I swear I am having twins this time around. I feel completely different then I did when I was pregnant with my daughter. With her I was sick right away and didn't gain any extra weight because all I did was puke all day long. When I did eat I craved sweets and chocolate. This pregnancy I am barely sick and I am already gaining weight and starting to show really early. I am hungry 24/7 and have STRONG cravings for vegetables and red meat like venison and steak. My hubby thinks I'm having twin boys. We'll see.

I just make an amazing Cheesy Vegetable Casserole. It's sooo good and really easy to make. Like 5 ingredients but tastes great. It's basically cheese, vegetables, cheddar cheese soup, sour cream, milk, and cheddar french fried onions! MMMMM!

Hi All, back from twon. Annie just left for work..

I bought 8 English muffin rings.. I tried making some English muffins awhile ago and they turned out just awful.. I am going to try it one more time,------- maybe two,....

and thanks to somebody who posted a photo of an upside down pineapple cake,, I bought a couple of cans of pineapple rings..
Tomorrow is Annie's birthday and I think I will surprise her with an upside down cake.. my first attempt,,, no matter the outcome, will she be surprised !!!!!!! LOL I am not really much good at regular cakes to begin with..

I have a few different peole looking for different things..
the old "guinea lady" is looking for Aerocauna hatching eggs, chicks or a pair of adults.. also she wants buckeyes..

another person is looking for hens.. barred rock and buff orpington.

another person (a kid) is looking for a gander.. he has a buff goose, no mate.. he also has 2 tom Royal Palms, also with no mates...

TO, do quail hatch their own eggs? is this a trick question?
I would guess, "no".. since the beginning of time, man has always hatched quails' eggs for them..

Jim your a bad bad man!

I almost said something about the quail egg hatching to TO but she has a special place in my heart

and I try my darnest not to pick on her or anyone else for that matter. You see I'm not very smart so when I see someone else make a mistake I like to jump all over it to make myself feel better about myself. It's a never ending process. Here's an example. I was 30 something years old still going to the tech and my Dad said something that I had just learned was WRONG about tapping a hole in some metal. He barely finished his sentence and I blurted out the correct way to do it. It was the first time in my whole life that I knew something that he did not. Imagine that, it took me over 30 years to know something that he didn't. Like I say I'm not very bright. In my defense he's pretty sharp. But the bad thing is that as soon as I corrected the ol man I want to retract every word. And will feel that way until I die. Not that that has anything to do with TO but boy do I feel better! And that's all that counts!

TO- It depends on the quail. They say that sometimes buttons will go broody. Cots rarely do and neither do bobs in captivity. Maybe in the wild it's not breed out of them. But if you hang out and read the quail threads (don't comment on them, those people are mean on there lol) they will give you more accurate info. I hatched some cots last November and did ok. I think it was more to fertility issues them anything else. I keep my quail for fun. They are great to watch and so sweet.
Oh FM- That just breaks my heart. They were two of the most beautiful cochins I have ever seen. I loved her female. My sympathies.
Beautiful babies BCC.
Ok, Im off to do chores. Later

Buff Silkie (at least I think that's what it is)

The 10 month old cuckoo marans cockerel (not sure if he's a blue cuckoo or not, to be honest. His hackles are dark, the rest of the bars are blue.) The lighter one is the one I'm keeping. Haven't worked out exactly what he is yet, but he's cool:
