Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

Hope everyone is enjoying the Early Spring so far...hope it continues and we can send the rest of our snow away....still a foot in most places, but it's going fast.
The roosters started crowing today. First time all Winter, it was nice to hear them sound off again. Collected 5 eggs today...up from the usual 2 or 3. I have alot of folks to share them with, so it is nice to see the needed increase.

Stay Safe....bigz

Thanks anyway bl4. These Lav orp roo's that I have are the most lay back roo's I've ever seen....they are from both T's and Robins flocks. Large but gentle birds. They will provide some music as the weather improves.
Time to get outside for some vitamin D.

Hi People, It has been awhile since I posted.
My computer room is in the basement. After my second hip replacement I could not do stairs. Today I made it down here without any pain, so I should be able to post more often from now on.
I have been taking it easy for the most part. started a few batches of wine and two batches of beer. I have it all bottled except for one more batch of wine. Probably will get that done this week.
only had one snowfall that needed plowing. I couldn't do it because of my hips. DD's boyfriend came and plowed with his truck. I could get used to that.
how about this spring like weather, eh?
it can stay like this for a few weeks and then warm up..
We got our first vaccinations today. the second dose is on April 5.

Glad you are up and about again Jim.

thanks, I feel pretty good again today.
I have a little work to do on Ollie. I might get at it while it is warm enough to work without gloves on. have to put a new tachometer in the dash.
have a lot of tilling planned for him this spring. have four trees coming to plant.
two apples and two cherries.
then 20 asparagus. and then a big garden and container plantings..
have a few woodworking projects I want to do too.
All of a sudden it will be autumn and I hope I get it all done..

Jim, I missed you. Wondered where you had been. Nice to see you back, and great to hear you are on the mend.

Chickenscratch good to hear from you!

Started my seeds this weekend....... yeah I know I am probably early, but I need the smell of dirt....... 😁

I just finished a barn quilt for the chicken coop..... since the sheet is 2x4, I made two squares on one board.
