Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

I got up early and took the carb off.
I blew into the fuel inlet and couldn't get any air to go through.
took the bowl off and the needle valve was not hooked into the float. it is now, though. after breakfast I will put it back on, I hope this fixes it.
I can't handle too many MIller Times.

Hopefully it works. The chickens have been laying 2-3 eggs a day. The garden is starting to produce we planted it a little late. The car is up and running good. Had to put new shocks on the truck so thats done to.

Well sounds like everyone is getting their mowers vehicles in repair. I have some repair to do on the list.
Will finish electric fence around sweet corn today. Have most t post for corners done, plastic post next and run polytape.
Farm and fleet having customer appreciation tonight and sale on chicken feed, comes down to about 11.00 a bag, hope there is still some there going to stock up. feeding 35 chickens is starting to get a little extra on the wallet, looking forward to moving some of them to the frigidare.
Made a face book page for sweet corn, hope this helps some when people ask me when I will be there.
Rain tonight maybe then chances Wednesday, going to sidedress nitrogen today on 3rd crop, hope it rains. Could use some rain anyway.
Wife's garden looking good, picked some small tomatoes, sugar peas are done. Looks like her eggplant is starting to produce.

good morning, very cloudy here.
I checked the radar, no rain on there
we didn't get any of that storm last night, either. we could hear thunder, but it all went south of us.
I am going to try to get a new float needle for the old carb. I know that one will work. I am sending this new carb back.
the raspberries are doing ok.
Annie is picking them and eating them. I get a few here and there.

I struck it lucky today. I went to O'Reilly's for the float needle. They did not have any. The guy told me about a store just north of Wausau. It turns out that it is just five miles from our house
A Briggs dealer/repair/parts store.
I got the needle and ordered a float hinge pin. Nice helpful people. The guy who waited on me said that he lives just a mile from our house. small world, eh?
There is a new Tractor Supply store in Merrill. we will check it out when we go to the bulk produce place to get the fixings for salsa.

Well I bought a tripod rotating sprinkler, watering my 3rd crop or some of it try push urea down. Half acre kinda hard to water, 150 foot garden hose, I can only reach part of it... But everytime I water the sweet corn it rains, so maybe it will work .....lol.

My banner was delivered today for sweet corn sales. we always used a plywood sign.
Have couple step in signs coming. I invested 80 to 90 dollars in signs.

Glad to hear you got your parts ordered for your equipment.

Electric fence been up now couple days around sweet corn. Wife accidently touched the fence, did not look happy, so I guess I will not have use my fence checker to see if it is working,

Might go up to Hixton and pick blueberrys Saturday. Have to see where I am at with the corn

TOR, you must be watering , because it just started raining here.
and thundering.
I reset the valves today. I looked it up in my Briggs repair manual. .003" and .005" .. this is the last time I am going to set them, right or wrong....
I toughed it out until 1 PM. then it got too hot for me. 83F..
Annie bought some corn today. $7.oo/doz.
Large ears. A farm just at the edge of town sells it every year. I think they make more money on corn than they do selling milk..

Hey you see it worked and I am watering, just the some misdirection where the rain went.
Getting dry here actually.
Hope to get big ears, but the second crop did not get as tall before tasseling. 5 foot to 6 foot tall as the first crop is all of 7 foot.
I am staying at 5 a dozen , but not giving bakers dozen out anymore as I did before.
Was 7 dozen here with other sellers.

TOR, you must have forgot to turn off the sprinkler. I hope you adjusted the location of the rain to suit your needs.
At midnight we had a thunderstorm roll through. It rained hard for over a half an hour. then a couple of hours another one came along. that one lasted for only a few minutes.
I still have not had to hook up the water hose outside this summer.

Turned off water last night at around 10 pm, raining here now. I next to never water the sweet corn, but everytime it rains within 24 to 48 hours.

green bay severe thunderstorm warning , had 1 last night also.
If I had not put the urea on I would have never watered.
Was getting dry.
