Why dont you grow your won mealies? I have mine growing in a cottage cheese container. WAAAAAY cheaper at the rate I feed them to my birds! The buttons can eat a few dozen in less than a minute. That is my "secret" for getting them tame. I still cant get the couturnix to eat out of my hand though. The button roo is so cute. He asts just like a chicken roo when I give him a worm. He chirps to call the girls over and lets them eat it. This is only after he has his fill though!

Good afternoon folks! Sounds like everyone is doing good. It just took me about 20 minutes to read through all the posts of the past few days and can't remember much of who said what!

Carol, glad Joan is on the mend! Cant remember who said they started jogging, but had a good chuckle, it's true the body never let's you forget your true age! I need to start doing yoga again since back issues are recurring and just the thought makes me ache!

Our move was set for end of May, we were talking this morning and once we get all the paperwork in (which will take a day or two just to fill out, they want more than I've ever seen!) we'll move the closing date up. We are both anxious to be out of here and in our new home. And the other day DH said he'd talk to the owners of the property that runs behind us and down one side of our property and see if they would be willing to sell off a chunk! LOL, that was after I told him I'd like a couple of pygmy goats for the grand kids! Think he's realizing I'll be using up some considerable yard space with everything I want!

If we do get moved earlier then I'll be able to make it to the get together, which would be nice. Always nice to be able to put names and faces together!

Afternoon All,
There is NOTHING on the t.v. except Tennis.. and yeah we are watching it.. they even have the good year blimp there...
People hi-fiveing over a good volley...WOW.. sunday sucks with out football!!

Joan is home today for the day and will be home permanently after Tues. She is doing great!!I brought an old wheel chair a neighbor of hers gave us, so that when we do the Midwest Horse Fair..
I will be pushing her around in style!!

I SOOOO did not sleep well last night.. didn't get to bed till about 445 after trying to sleep from about 130, and getting up at 330.
I got up at 930 and now off to bed again.

I am so glad that there are folks who can look in on Dill for me. I had her sign a contract, and will go up every few months to check on him.
My biggest fear is that she may be boarding her horses, and IF anything happens, she is supposed to return him... I truly hope she lives up to that.
Any hoo off to beds with me for a little bit.

Starting to get things together for my sisters rummage sale next month, where does all this sh#$ come from ??? We don't have a basement or attic but still seam to collect more than we need

Hi everyone, Ran to fleet and got 100 ft x 3" of hardware cloth, some hasp clasps for the chicken door and smaller plastic jars for the feeder and waterer. Cold rainy and sleety in Wausau today so no work on the coop today. Hope everyone has a good day
