My Silkie hen randomly decided to lay an egg tonight. Haven't seen anything out of her in a while. Her and her silkie roo are out in the juvie shed with the IBs growing up. She was sure to leave it over by the heat lamp, good momma. LOL I'll toss it in the incubator with the next round.

Hi all...tough day here. All I can say is that I am tired! I read 35 or so posts but I am too exhausted to reply!
The snow is falling here in great white flakes...tomorrow me and Peg are planning on doing horse rides in the park! NO SCHOOL! I wonder if we will get a citation> TerriOoutlawatlarge

Hey Del, H&R used to have banty partridge cochins. Not sure if she still has them, though. I think Carol has a few. She used to, at least. I just have an antique roo. He's an awesome surrogate daddy, though.

Cind, put me on the list of a buyer for the rag rugs too, pretty please.

Been super busy the last 2 days. Got the tree up & decorated, decorated the rest of the house & got ALL the cards done yesterday. Then went to bed at 1am, got up at 7 and spent the entire day cleaning.

Yeah, I'm headed to bed. It is snowing here too, but nothing heavy yet. You all be safe out there, especially you & L, DrH!

I didn''t get much sleep last night,, I was watching Duck Dynasty and I kept falling asleep..

I watched Duck Dynasty for the first time tonight, it was pretty funny.

No snow here only rain so far. We are supposed to get snow and wind tomorrow.

I'll be heading to work early tomorrow and leaving early as well. I hate driving in snow, but I love to look at it!

I went to the doc today, I've got a mild sinus infection. That explains the eye pain and tiredness.

Jim... yea, if he's still alive.... give him some charcoal in water. NOT brickets from the grill though. Good Luck... hope he's OK!

Rugs won't happen until I know for sure Neil can do them. His MS is rather advanced so motor skills are kinda "iffy" . Mental ability can be sporadic too. Will see how it goes. Will try a few different types and see what works best.

The Tom got out of the temp coop while I was trying to make it more weather resistant. Went right for the Turkey pen and of course the other Tom had to come and "protect" his girls. How he managed to get bloody "elbows" through the fence is beyond me. He didn't look very happy after I retrieved the other one. BTW.... jeez these are people friendly birds! Even all wound up I can go and pick them up and carry them.
