Hurley & GR - Still haven't heard anything from Sandhill on the chick order, but from what I've read about them this is pretty typical. They didn't cash my check yet either. I'll let you know when I hear anything from them on a ship date. I'm hoping for early March too.

Happy Valentines Day to all the Cheesehead Ladies!

Getting another 3-5 inches of snow today... I'm soooo over winter already.

Working on the plans to build a 3X8 Brooder on legs. I'm using the old fashioned hinges with the pins and some other "Polish ingenuity" hardware to enable me to easily break it down and hang it on the wall for storage... I'll post pics when I'm done.

snowing here quite hard.. I haven't seen a weather report for a couple of days,, evidently, since I plowed yesterday down at the building site.. DUH !! On the bright side,, I get to plow again..

I think I figured a way to put a pitched roof over the pen.. I do my best thinking in bed.. I must,, because Annie always told me : "you think you are a good lover"..

getting time to go out and feed the multitudes.. cuppa first..

yah Ski,, don't bother making it a break down.. it will always have something in it..

Years ago we built a 7ft x 7 ft ice shack with hinges and pins.. hauled it on top of the jeep..

had 2 sections for the floor, 8 sections for the walls and 2 sections for the roof.. the boys could put it up or take it down in less than 15 minutes..

we actually built it in my living room.. we did the sawing outside..

Happy Valentines day everyone

I am meeting DH in Madison for dinner. He is driving half way and I am meeting him at the Casino there. I hope I can find it. I thought it was a long drive for dinner, but, he was trying being romantic last night and I just had to say yes. I am not much of a driver and he has my car with the GPS. I sure hope my enthusiasm is better by the time I leave. Now I am just stressing about the drive.

And your plans too please..I am looking for a way to make show cages that break down. Your idea has me thinking I might be able to use your design.
