good AM,
DrH, hope Dad gets to feeling better soon..
I did not work on the pen yesterday.. call me woosie, but it is too cold to be out there with bare hands.. I cannot work with wood with mittens on.. today doesn't look much better..
I have to cut 8 pieces to add on to the corners of the sections.. then I think I will be able to get a clamp on them while I try running the screws in..
yeh, UndaDan, You hit it right on the head,, when working alone, you use any part of your body you can to hold things in place.. I had to laugh when you said foot.. I was standing on part of the section while trying to align the top of it.. then to top it all off,, my cordless drill ran out of power after just 4 screws.. I had it charged, I thought, but after checking the charger base, it was partially unplugged where the cord went into the base.. that was a Hallmark Oh Sh!t moment..
our (now deceased) dog used to wait all year for the neighbor to spread manure on the fields around our place.. to a dog, rolling in that type of stuff is perfume..
Dora and the puppy have been chewing on a deer carcass all winter.. they didn't roll in it, but their breath was rotten enough..
ya know,, turkeys do not have to do the 3 minute drill all that often,, their "hold" time is longer than that of chickens..
IDK if it is my tom, but my % of fertility is about 50%.. this year I have 3 toms, so maybe the competition will increase the fertility..? the old Tom is 7 years old.. and he really looks rough.. his tail has not filled out yet,, and it might not either..
