Just popping in to say good morning...HOT here! No air and very humid. Judging went well yesterday and we got all 800 items hung and on display...now I just need to go in and fine tune...my favorite part for sure. Of course there will be the stuff that falls and breaks because kids dont understand how to add a proper hanger to the back of stuff!

I have to go out and do chores...but first I am changing this T-shirt for a tank top! I hate hot.

I have 70 posts left to read...maybe after chores?

Thanks for the info/dosage on meds. If I had to give a shot to a chicken I would need lots more guidance. I'll likely go the route of shooting it in the mouth or in the water.
However, today there are NO RUNNY NOSES, and no sneezing unless they are eating/drinking, and then it was only a couple of them only sneezing once. ??what's up with that?? I"m not going crazy, tho they certainly are trying!
I'll check the floor in the coop for damp spots. I am using a brick as a riser for the small waterer that's in there and I moved it the other day to make room for my new hanging feeder and noticed it was damp under it, so I know for sure that was an issue. Also after the rain the doorway was wet, but I cleared all of that out right away.

I'll keep you updated as the day goes on.

Heather will do anyting to show off her 15lb weight loss !!!!! Going as far as twisting her goslings feathers to make it look like angel wing is going a bit far isn't it Heather? I mean really, just slap on that two piece swim suit and pose for the camera already !!!

Jim is your "greenhouse" the same structure you were going to use for the peafowl pen or is that a seperate structure ? How did you know it was the left wing??? Are you psyhic ?

Didn't see my two peafowl or mama yesterday.... hmmm will have to go out again today.
Got a bunch of water blisters on my stump (part of chopped off leg fyi of what a stump is lol) from all of the heat.
Then when we went to Antigo yesterday I told ET I think I should go to Urgent Care, I felt a bladder infection coming on.... sure enough I have one. I haven't had a bladder infection for Years and Years.
With all of these water pills and then the bladder control pills who knows what it's doing to my delicate (but not dainty) poor body.
Glad I went yesterday to nip it in the bud... they are no fun.

Bought 10 gallons of stain for the house yesterday. Now just need to use it !!

Ok, gott go pee AGAIN and I haven't even taken my lasix yet !!! It sure is H3LL getting old.... but I"m not complaining !!! LOL

Actually all dogs are mutts..... just bred to control what they will look like!!! Just an FYI in case anyone is looking for a small dog..... spayed and cheap. The Oneida County Humane Society has gotten in some more small dogs from California....

Just what I heard. I don't even want to know what they have !!!! Our new little girl is adjusting perfectly.... She loves to play with the cats now but will also just lay around and be a couch poodle/potato all day too !!!

And just for the record, small dogs aren't mutts, or dogs... They are BABIES !!!

Jim knew it was the left wing because he must have a goose or two up there with left sided angel wing! So it doesn't hurt them? It sure hasn't seemed to bother him a bit. And Jim I was thinking the SAME thing about if people pulled those feathers out or something? Soon we'll be finishing eachothers sentences!

Frenchie, I did not hurt Georgie for the bikini shot! I would never do such a thing. (Ok in my hay day I might have come up with SOMETHING short of hurting an animal). My 14 yr old doesn't follow directions well. Apparently I don't feel the need to view pics before I post them either.

Momentous day here: my husband took off!!! He hasn't taken a Sunday off in months. He even went and bought the family McDonalds for breakfast. You don't fully understand what it is like to mother these children alone 7 days a week, except for when an exhausted hubby comes home for 3 hrs in the evening. Now I'm gone 3 of those nights till 1 am. I'm tired, a lot. It is just nice having him HOME even if he's out changing oil or getting a window fixed. So a good day for me so far, for once.

Yes, round, 9" diameter. I have NO clue about brand, it is probably decades and decades old. I am pretty sure it came from my grandpa's best friend's mother. I need to go peruse some thrift stores....

What a headache about your docs and meds. Don't know how you keep it all straight. Had a cookout at Julie's last night, later we're gonna all head to the beach. I am miserable with hot humidity.

Earlier this week we brought home 2 more mousecatchers from Julie's. Still working on names, cute little bitty gals.






And the Silkies I hatched for Julie. She wants to keep a black, the white with stripes, and maybe one other. So that leaves 4, anyone interested?

Have them ear tip them (cut a small tip off ear) so if they should wander and be brought in they will know they are spayed/neutered.

I can't keep every appointment straight any more. My memory is going.... now I email myself the appointments and the address cause I can't remember where to go when. Now just remembering to email it then look to see when I go so I don't miss it.
I'm loosing faith in doctors...... not so much on the obvious things but I've learned long ago my Auntie Esther was right.... They don't call the Practicing Physicians for nothing..... They make a lot of Educated GUESSES !!!

They all have their own take on your symptoms and are eager to send you off to a different specialist (passing the buck) so to speak.
Oh well, $ame $hit, Different Day .....SSDD !! LOL
