Good evening--the fair is DONE! It was so easy this year...no birds, no plants, no canning, no ribbons or premiums either...but I think it was worth it! I dont need to take a week of from life to recover from the fair now. And my garden is not full of weeds! The check out went well and I even had some people come and volunteer to help pass back entries. THat was a first for sure! I guess DD and I looked a bit frazzled. Sadly two of the entries seem to be missing. one is a neat looking bucky badger pictur collage made out of pieces of magazine pages and duct tape and a tie dyed infant onsie. We might have to have armed guards!

I am new here. I was told about this thread by someone I bought some guinea keets from today and thought I would check it out. I live in Minocqua, WI. We have rouen ducks, broiler chickens, turkeys, black copper marans, welsummer, Americana, and partridge rocks. We also have three dogs, guinea pigs, Senegal parrot and now some new additions with the new eight guinea keets.

Hi im new here I live near Wisconsin Dells/Lake Delton/Reedsburg/Baraboo kinda in the middle of them all. Lol. I have 5 black and gold easter eggers one is my rooster, 1 light brahma, 3 cinnamon queens, 2 buff orphintons, 4 female guineas, 1 easter egger/light brahma, 1 easter egger/buff orphington, 3 black jersey giants, 4 cats, 1 dog, a 2 year old girl and another baby girl due august 13th! Hoping to add 2 grey toulouse geese and 2 cayuga ducks next spring!

See me next spring for Toulouse goslings or eggs. I hope they have a better year than they did this year! Figures, the one year that I actualy have people that WANT them they cant hatch any.

Deli, I just wanted you to know that genetics chart was as clear as you could make it and it was still mud to me! I also noticed you didnt say I could move in with you when I found out you can cook. Polite manners says you should let me move in when I invite mysel too... (she said she can make scones and Devonshire/clotted cream to go with that (bleeping) strawberry jam!) I said I wanted to move in and eat for a while! Now everyone stop writing because I have no willpower and I'm supposed to be working really hard and if you dont write stuff then I wont compulsively have to write stuff. So just kick back, away from your computers, eat some of your fricken fracken berries and short cakes, have some alcoholic beverages...

I thought the same thing when I read that BigFam...I followed it for a little while but them my brain really started to hurt!

Welcome to all you newbies!!!!! Newbies to Cheeseheads that is !!!

I haven't mastered the multi quote thingy yet so forgive me for not quoting both of your new posts in my welcoming you.... and I suffer from CRS (can't remember $hit) so also forgive me for not welcoming you by name !!!! Some of us are old on here.... not at old as Jim and Unk but still old !! Dang kitten keeps walking on my keyboard..... can't teach a cat something they don't want to do that is for sure......

But that's not as bad as when she decides to jump down from the window and use my chest as a landing spot...... dang cat !!! Did I mention earlier that I have about 10 little mix breed chicks running around??? Just what I needed !!!! 10 baby muscovies and 4 goslings and I think I still have 2 peachicks...... WOW what am I gonna do if all of the other Muscovy eggs hatch that two hens are sitting on? Shoulda got my Arse out there and collected eggs that's for sure !! Does anyone know if the Muscovy hens will lay again after they raise their young ?? My magpie's are all doing good. One has angel wing though.... must be cause bigfam kept talking about it.....
Bad Heather bad !!! Had to order a new ignition switch for the pontoon boat.... the key we are using doesn't work the best and we don't want to get stuck in the middle of the lake. So nobody commented on my link to the submaringing pontoon boat thread ??????>
Well, just for that I'm gonna tell the story !!! In a little bit cause right now I'm eating popcorn.
Down in the dumps today cause my niece Addie went back home today.... my little Kenosha girl !! Boy does she love the lake.... she even convinced me to come in and swim yesterday !! Can't wait til my pool comes.... I don't like touching the seaweed or lilly pads and god only knows what was swimming under the water !!! ET was fishing and decided to throw a little pan fish towards me !!!! I almost $hit my swimsuit !!! lol
Yeah, where is psycho chick anyway? And Hen something or other near Madison? Not Hen and Roos but the one who hubby Twain who works for Neutrena....hope she is ok.
And Dr Ha.... I miss ya man !!!!
Oh and don't get any ideas Heather.... I'm pitching my tent next to Delisha's again next year.... and we're coming early on Friday..... just sayin ....

[VIDEO][/VIDEO]I don't know why you're worried about your tent for next year already. Butt dog will lead a coup to overthrow your place. The ducks will flap around letting the porkers loose. The porkers will run around getting into trouble and storming everyone's pens. The donkey is gonna be an @ss and kick down part of the horse fence, so you and ET are gonna have to spend the whole Bash weekend putting your place back together. In the process of doing that, you get picked up for indecent exposure for riding your 4 wheeler naked. ET is just so relieved you're out of his hair for a few hours, he refuses to bail you out. He'll claim he didn't hear he phone ringing because he was out trying to gather up all your animals Butt dog got riled up.

And you're worried about your tent placement?! Poor Poor Frenchie....

Good morning,, went out to re-tie the tomatoes.. the mosquitoes are thick as well,, mosquitoes this morning. So I decided that the tomatoes don't look so bad and came back indoors..

Nice try Heather,, how many berries arrived ??

I decided to take the small tiller in to get it running.. I am not the best when it comes to 2 cycle carbs.. the ones with diaphrams .

I called the number of the lady who seemed so desperate for chickens.. no answer.. it figures.

Pull up a roost and perch for a spell. Always room in this coop for one more. Just be aware it is quite a mixed flock in here . We have a couple young chicks, a few old hens, several mother hens and a cuckoo or two. . Several roos on here too. Very wise and struttin their stuff but watch out for the old crows .

Tell us more about you and your flock and the rest of your critters. We love pics here too by the way.
