Good morning--quick one here today...I have to do chores then off to lunch with my friend...she is working from home today so we are going to catch up--finally!
Welcome SJ--might be hard to catch up on those posts andkeep up with the new ones too! Where are you in Dodge?
THe garlic people sent me an email that the garlic was ready to order! I ordered some last night. OMG they have like 150 varieties! It was a hard choice for sure. I got one Asian one, good for stir frys; and one German one that is good for braiding. Now I need to learn to do that. You have to order 5 heads of each kind this year so if anyone else is ordering perhaps we can do some trading? The website is wegrowgarlic they are here in WI near Madison.
OK gotta run--talk later! TerriOhadahenandafinchdiefromheatsofar

Some are right up....... ummmmm some are more BF's taste? Nope, that's bad too....... well, you will just have to look to see what I mean.....
It is finally cool enough for sleeping I think.
My dogs inhale those smoked bones and I found out that they are not so good for them because of the splintering they do. The vet said that raw bones are better for them. I have very vigorous chewers though...you can freeze them if you want...just wrap them really well or seal in a meal sealer thingy so the smoke smell doesnt migrate to your other food! YUK!Hang in here babylady4.... Hope it is not s bad as it seems.
I have a dog related question... So the butcher gave us some bones for the dog when we picked up our quarter of a cow the other day. They appear smoked ( smell like it) he is working on one right now but it is stinky so stays outside where he is not all day long outside much. Can I freeze the other ones? How long until they go bad? I know it is a better, option than the rawhides he goes through so quick. Your thoughts? These are big knuckles, some with marrow that are half his size! Remember he is a large corgi so 35 lbs or so
