I called the boat guy in MA today. They had to look up the info and call me back. The guy was sort of a jerk. What part of THERE WAS NO REFERENCE OR PICTURE OF THE SWITCH on the back of the package. Geez, why would I lie about that !!!
So he got a package that had one on it and read me what "it" said.... so we shall see. We didn't go to the lake today... BUT I told ET if we try this and it still doesn't work.... the boat will be for sale.... I've had it !!!
Found another dead baby Muscovy duckling, so sad. I do have to say that the Mama Muscovy's are really good Moms though.
ET caught the rest of the guinea keets. One was very weak, that one didn't survive once he brought them in the house. I see another one is having troubles with the legs. Hopefully after spending time in the warm brooder it will be stronger in the morning. There was another one that had what looked like dried blood on the side of the neck/face. It's acting fine otherwise. So I have a total of 14, 13 if the weak one doesn't make it.
Now I have to make the call and tell the person I have keets for her !!!
I just love baby keets !!! But I'm sure I will get more because I swear half of my guineas are gone.... I'm sure there are more nests around. With my ATV not working I haven't been able to look around as much as I'd like. I don't like to walk in the long grass...... I DON"T LIKE SNAKES !!! LOL
I guess the neighbor woman helped ET catch the keets. She came over to borrow our small tiller...... later ET tried starting it and it wouldn't start..... just a year old..... I said... maybe shouldn't have borrowed it out.... he said... I didn't... because it wouldn't start .!!!!
Dang him..... he just doesn't take care of anything !!!
Last year we brought our big tiller and our small mantis to the shop for tune up's. No sooner did we get the mantis home it wouldn't start so he brought it back.... Something major and expensive had busted.... can't remember what now. Anyway, I had been in town and just so happened to look at our checking account that day..... $400 charge from that repair shop.... He had bought a new one......... There is no way I would have given them another dime after the tiller we just paid to get tuned up fried the first time we used it !!!!! I think he should have given us our money back for the tune up!!
The new one is a Stihl ??? or something like that. Kind of glad it didn't start cause by the looks of things I don't think these things are very hardy !!
I spent hours watering the garden by hand today. Can't get the sprinkler to work right. Got all wet when I kept trying to get "it" right....
Can't even see my pumpkin plants. They are smothered with weeds and haven't really grow much at all. Guess they really do need water eh?
So much for growing pumpkins this year.
