I've tried to sleep, been since Thursday. Everytime i try to I get woken by chick dreams. Soon as their done I'll sleep well. Chick #16 just hatched! Only 10 to go. I take it Big opens alot also? Last hatch I must of opened it 50 times. This time not as much but a good amount. Now if the 2 would dry so I can get em in the brooder as their beating the hell out of the other eggs.

You must have got the Cherry Recipe hey ???? I don't remember trying them at the bash two years ago. I saw them but they disappeared real quick.

I called the boat guy in MA today. They had to look up the info and call me back. The guy was sort of a jerk. What part of THERE WAS NO REFERENCE OR PICTURE OF THE SWITCH on the back of the package. Geez, why would I lie about that !!!

So he got a package that had one on it and read me what "it" said.... so we shall see. We didn't go to the lake today... BUT I told ET if we try this and it still doesn't work.... the boat will be for sale.... I've had it !!!

Found another dead baby Muscovy duckling, so sad. I do have to say that the Mama Muscovy's are really good Moms though.

ET caught the rest of the guinea keets. One was very weak, that one didn't survive once he brought them in the house. I see another one is having troubles with the legs. Hopefully after spending time in the warm brooder it will be stronger in the morning. There was another one that had what looked like dried blood on the side of the neck/face. It's acting fine otherwise. So I have a total of 14, 13 if the weak one doesn't make it.
Now I have to make the call and tell the person I have keets for her !!!

I just love baby keets !!! But I'm sure I will get more because I swear half of my guineas are gone.... I'm sure there are more nests around. With my ATV not working I haven't been able to look around as much as I'd like. I don't like to walk in the long grass...... I DON"T LIKE SNAKES !!! LOL
I guess the neighbor woman helped ET catch the keets. She came over to borrow our small tiller...... later ET tried starting it and it wouldn't start..... just a year old..... I said... maybe shouldn't have borrowed it out.... he said... I didn't... because it wouldn't start .!!!!

Dang him..... he just doesn't take care of anything !!!
Last year we brought our big tiller and our small mantis to the shop for tune up's. No sooner did we get the mantis home it wouldn't start so he brought it back.... Something major and expensive had busted.... can't remember what now. Anyway, I had been in town and just so happened to look at our checking account that day..... $400 charge from that repair shop.... He had bought a new one......... There is no way I would have given them another dime after the tiller we just paid to get tuned up fried the first time we used it !!!!! I think he should have given us our money back for the tune up!!
The new one is a Stihl ??? or something like that. Kind of glad it didn't start cause by the looks of things I don't think these things are very hardy !!
I spent hours watering the garden by hand today. Can't get the sprinkler to work right. Got all wet when I kept trying to get "it" right....
Can't even see my pumpkin plants. They are smothered with weeds and haven't really grow much at all. Guess they really do need water eh?
So much for growing pumpkins this year.

Chickenship added shock one morning and by that afternoon the pool was GREEN!!!! Turns out we have a lot of copper in our well water, and we have been battling this for the past 2 weeks unable to use the pool at all. Finally almost had the color back to normal but the PH is so high we cantt get it down and as soona s we add shock it turns green again. We are about to give up and its frustrating to spend this much money and time and ot able to even enjoy it. The metal stuff we added helped but we have added 5-6 times the amount suggested before it even began to come down.

I think you did mention that you had copper in your water and were having problems...... Wow, hope you can get that resolved. Do you think it is the salt water filter system giving you the problems ? You said you had a smaller pool last year right ? Same problems?
All that came with my pool was three way test strips to check chlorine, ph, and I think salt or ????
So looks like I'll need some type of chemical to stabilize the chlorine once the saltwater system gets the chlorine to the right level? Then looks like I'll have to see if the PH is within normal levels..... I'll have to find out what to use to adjust that too.
The directions just say refer to your pool dealer.....

ET is putting sand under ours.... It says not to but he is just putting a small amount down to help level the ground.

Ok, I took my antihistamine (instead of ambien) so I'm beginning to get sleepy. Time for a potty trip and then to bed. It's suppose to be a beautiful day again tomorrow.... would be nice to get outside before Noon !!
