I am just a hip o crit !!! We went to town (Rhinelander) yesterday to our doctor appointments. Then of course it was supper time. So we decided on The Brick Oven formerly Zippy's Pizza.
Had the Monster Meat or whatever kind of meat pizza it was....Tons of meat, and Pork was one of them....
It sure was good, Poor poor pig !!!!
Then hit Aldis,
Walmart for new RX, then Menards for the 11% sale. Got a new printer finally. Choice was simple. Got a Lexmark 715. It has WiFi, tablet & mobile printing, auto 2 sided, and other stuff. It was on Sale for $69.00. I get the 11% off PLUS a $20 Rebate.... Good price.
I had always bought HP printers but I am ticked that they keep changing the cartridges so my one yr old printer that won't take paper has brand new cartridges that won't fit into any of the new printers that wally world sells or anyone else I checked with.
So this Lexmark has a 1 yr warranty and for $8 minus the 11% discount I bought an extended 1 year warranty. Now just have to make sure I keep the receipt in a safe place !!! Gosh I hate printers. Now just having problems getting it to recognize my wifi.
Amy, yes I do have face book. I'll look into that ! I love those earrings, I was always going to order some of those beads and make some earrings. I have all kinds of stuff to make them, feather ones too but you know how that goes around here !! I also have been saving feed bags to make those totes. Wish there were more of those Pink bags, I don't have any of those. Maybe they will have more in October??
Yes, VickyW..... that sounds like a typical day around here. I had full intentions of getting up early today....but that didn't happen.
After we went to Jets Dairy I Rhinelander (can't believe the place is still there, we went there 50 yrs ago when dad would take us for a ride to look for deer) and I had a large cone we were so thirsty from eating that god awful pizza I said to ET when we passed the bar at the corner I could go for a beer !!! He said turn around. So to the bar we went.... not like me. Had I think 3 tap light beers. Felt the first one. I'm a cheap date.Then had a DIET soda !!! lol
Met a guy there that owns a smoke shop in town. He sells the starter electronic cigs for $10 instead of the $22... Thinks people should be able to try it at a decent price.
Anyway, found out he has 11 fish tanks and breeds guppies.... I love guppies. Now just need to clean out my tanks and get some guppies, maybe a good winter project.
So just basically vegging today. Long day yesterday wore me out. All those calories !!! lol
I'd like to go to the Wausau fair this weekend. They have the draft horse show on Sunday. I'd like to see if they have any driving classes (horses Heather horses)
But to save money, I could just go sit by my pasture and watch my drafts run around. ET opened the gate the other day and let me in with the ATV. I love riding next to them while they are running !!
I called the pulm doc to see if they got the results for my oxygen yet. She said the NP looked at it because the doctor is on vacation
but she was confused, told ya !!!! I asked about what... I guess it was on the hours on the meter. Readings from 3am until 1pm etc..... DAH.... that's when I sleep !!!! After I told her I'm a night owl she said she would have the NP look at it again. Geezus Crips..... I want to get this over with. I've never been so aggressive with doctors in my life but if you all remember correctly, I started going to the doctors in April, May and wanted to get to the bottom of all of this so I could have a good SUMMER..... It's half over with already.
Now next week I go for another stress test. The Cardiologist said my low oxygen levels at night is not from my heart. He changed my cholesterol meds so we'll see if I have less muscle aches. I have to say I really like the cardiologist but his staff aren't the sharpest tacs in the box.
Then we went to ET's appointment. He saw a new female doctor (cause his doc was not in yesterday) to just take a look at his hand (where he drove a power nailer into). She was a real nice young woman, think she just got out of school. Very efficient and the nurse that checked him in was actually a professional !! That was at Aspirus.... I'm not so sure of the Marshfield/Ministry was a good choice. I've been doing his long enough to see a difference.
Just got off the phone, the NP looked over the test again and ordered the oxygen. So hopefully I'll hear from the homecare soon.
Maybe just maybe I'll wake up feeling like I had a good nights sleep.
So Jim, how much to get into the fair ? Onieda fair is this week too. but kind of a disappointment, but not as bad as Forest Counties.

boy, are you going to have a busy winter. And about your limper. Had that happen just a bit ago too to my young layer, Noodle. I put more straw down for padding by the roost landing zone and no more problem.
