Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

Colton that is crazy bad luck. It's not even that hot out! There is no reason to have 9 or 10 dead chicks out of 30. You will defiently get replacements. Make sure to ask for replacements from the rare egg layer assortments. I would hope they would treat you with the respect you deserve. Meyers is usually very good about giving replacements or credit.

I watched the news at noon.. not a mention in the news about the storm,, and the weather man only had about one sentence about it.. WTH ?

Annie found another nest .. 17 more guinea eggs to set.. and if the other guinea did indeed abandon her nest, there should be over a dozen more..

I left my empty coffee cup on the trailer/workbench last night,, there was an inch of rain water in it this morning..

The dolly wheel I JB welded works perfectly.. the wheel wobbles slightly, I should have checked the alignment closer.. I assumed that matching the old welds was good enough.. apparently the wheel took a good sideways bend to break it..

had someone inquire about buying my hen and 9 chicks.. gave them a good price, $14.oo for all if they show up today or tomorrow..

One of the weak chicks is doing well. Well it was not weak, it just couldn't stand up. It was doing summersaults everytime it stood up, not it can stand and walk a lot better!!!

WOW! All we got here was a nice solid inch of rain! The tornado that hit New London was a confirmed EF 2, the one by Kaukauna was an EF 1.

Went to the street sale in Rhinelander today. Not much there but but still had fun and discovered a great new coffee shop. My double shot frappe kept me moving all day! :weee
I had a coupon for the Foster and Smith factory store (paid $19 FOR $50) and picked up a HUGE bag of top grade millet sprays $12 and change. Should be enough to give the girls snacks all winter. Also got some good deals on quality kitty food and duck jerky for my spoiled pup.

Here is an excalibur with all the shelves...

Looks like no power for 2-3 days! D@mn!

Same here! Some transformer or something took a hit of lightning during the thick of it just south of Waupaca. Some of our neighbors headed for a hotel. I do have power at the store so we've been showering there and hauling some water. Have a bit of power at home now through a converter attached to the car - should keep me breathing through the night anyway. Grillin' will be just fine for dinner!

Hope everyone without power is surviving it OK!

That was some wild fireworks last night!
