Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

Hurley, the watermark is just fine and your birds are gorgeous!

Got TO's pic of her berries: NICE!

Pretty boring day. Went and got my hair cut. Picked up some colored daylilies for the back fence........ yeah pretty dull day.

Glad I have Great America and a visit with family to look forward to, AND a river tubing trip with friends.

What day works for you Southeners for meeting next week? Sunday or Tuesday at the mushroom store?

BigFam, cute little chooks!!

And thank you for dragging DrH back! Missed you much, sir!

Hurley, great shots of your pretty birds. Isn't that irritating about photo thieves? I'd keep emailing them, and get more threatening with each one.

The best is they originally had up a photo of a friend of mine. She emailed, requesting they take it down, they responded with "it's not watermarked, so it's perfectly legal for us to use it, but we'll take it down". They did take it down within a week...and replaced it with my photo. They haven't responded to my request. Some people are just scum.

I saw your chickies!!!

My bad! Shame on me and you are absolutely correct.

I cannot wait to see pics of them all grown up and all feathered out with Hershey butts! Nice sunny pics out in the grass with the sunshine......

Where did you get them from again???? And pardon my ignorance, but Chocolate Orpingtons are bred how?

Nice to see you hurley. Nice birds!!

And Dr H hope that knuckle keeps lasting :)

Heather; FINALLY! They are very cute! Looks like they are nice and round!

Jel, also sorry to hear about your dad.

Teri, I agree with big fam!! You are such tease!!!

Colton, glad those babies are doing good. Have fun at practice!

Vickiw, you will really enjoy those babies! And I hope pup gets better!

Not much new here. We are camping out at sis' s this weekend. I have some 4-hers taking care of chickies for me. I hope it all goes well!! They came over to ight to see how it all works. I have a broody with pipped eggs tonight!!!! I locked her in a pen. I do not normally do that. But I worry about us not being home to overlook how things go. This is her second batch this year! I think it would be ok, but not taking any chances.
Scott has started the pup on wings. I hope this does not effect the attitude around the chickies. Tit has been a week. So far he is good. I have been taking him to friends houses to train and socialise. Training is going very well. I love Dozer, but it is nice to train my kind of dog again!!

Yeah, not true. If you didn't take the photo yourself, pay for it, or get permission, you are not entitled to use it! Grr!

A chocolate Orpington is bred like this way:
A chocolate roo jumps on the back of a chocolate hen and drops some junk in her junk.

Hope that helps! (Oh and they came from CA)

Unfortunately both of those days are bad for me. :'(
DD12 comes home from her summer adventures on Sunday and after work on Tuesday, I have to take DD12 to soccer. You guys have fun.

We aren't getting eggs, tomatoes, etc here either. My broody is stealing all eggs and the count has decreased overall too.

Weeded half of the garden today. The watermelon and cukes are growing well right now. But I don't think any of the winter squash will make it.
