Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

Don't worry. I am dyslexic and it was probably me. A few like to correct and criticize. It makes the day go better to make others feel bad. Just saying!

Maxibond is used as a binder(glue) in poultry pellets, as well as Tiamulin Hydrogen Fumarate,Colistin Sulphate,MSG to name a few. The list is long.

glue
[ gloo ]
  1. animal-based adhesive: an adhesive substance obtained by boiling animal parts such as bones, hides, horns, and hooves
  2. adhesive: a natural or synthetic substance used as an adhesive or binder
  3. something that unites people: a unifying factor or influence

It can be natural but usually is not. It does not do well with fermenting in either case. I have tried both. The glue is a process to keep the feed from breaking down for stabilization purposes. That process keeps it from fermenting properly.
I only mentioned it because it happens so often,, and it also might save some embarrassment for somebody that might get corrected in let's say a knowledgeable crowd...

I also believe that if someone is raising a certain breed of chicken, they should be knowledgeable in all phases of the chicken,, including how to spell it's name and pronounce it correctly,,

I never do as you say,, I try to be discreet and never go at anybody to hurt their feelings..

I don't need to make somebody feel bad each day to make my day ..

I threw it out there as a general, statement,, somebody asked me to be specific, and I was..
btw , you are also guilty of that particular spelling..

Ok, let us all pipe down and be nice to each other. Does anyone know how to play Kumbaya?

I'm sure there is at least something gelatinous, if not another binder, in both of the pellets in my mix. When I have tried to make FF out of the two pellets, I get a gelatinous blob on top of my FF. But when I make it from crumble I don't have this problem.

Thanks Jim for recommending the mark all around. That will definitely help. What are the opinions on permanent markers on eggs?

TO: Canning class, yes! I remember most of the process, but have no knowledge of timing, temperatures, etc. I'm sure Mom would come out and help me, too, but she's 7 hours away.

I would like to can chicken without the bones. I actually do love canned chicken, goes great with peas for a quickie meal.
I like the idea of canning it up with a few veggies. :)

Terri, you'll be my gardening go-to next spring. Going to tear it up with a rototiller in a nice fertile chunk of ground (if the massive growth of grass is any indication).

I will post about markers just this once.. I have gone round and round with people in the past, and I always come out the "bad guy"

If you can smell it, don't use it.. especially the liquid felt tip markers..

I would use pencil as a first choice..

under a cluck, I would go so far as to use the pen type fine tip laundry iindellable (sp) marker..
maybe a crayon would work ?

canning is not real inexpensive,, the lids are costly,,, therefore, I would forego the veggies in with the canned chicken.
besides, the processing makes the veggies too well done (overcooked) for my liking.. I would go so far as to add onion and/or garlic ..

All the info for canning can be found online.....

CS, the intern would like to know if the yellow tiles are gone yet...... I am going to miss that kid!

Frenchie, you need to clean your drives and remove non-essential programs/files. Pictures take up a LOT of memory......

Back to the grind.......

this is the young BO rooster I am keeping,, just 19 weeks old in this photo..
sh!t !! I cut off the top of his head.. take my word for it ,, he has a nice comb...

I am playing with my photo philes,,

I think some of my problems come from sending too large of pictures..

the icon says they are 3000 x 4000 . I am trying to change that..

my internet provider told me that it was their internet connection.. seemed to think that I just have to live with it ..
