Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

I put a pic of the camp up on the Bash thread so our newbies can get an idea of the layout.

Thank you for complimenting the pictures, it was very difficult to take them without having people in the photo! I am more than happy to share the experience with all of you! Now I am looking into heading up to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. It looks like it would be a great trip to take the kids on.

Worked for a few hours at UW today, and the dang VW had a dead battery so I ended up taking the van. DH is looking at the VW now, it is probably having issues since nobody drove it for the past four days.

That's all, nothing new here.

Oh my gosh, you're not allowed to post stuff like this about Canada geese. They are my ultimate soft spot. I want more than anything to get some. I have raised them in the past, but they are such wonderful birds and bond so well to people, its heartbreaking when something happens to them. I love taking my goslings down to the river for a swim. And when they eat the weeds out of my hand as I weed the garden. Oh, I won't be tempted!

Have any of you heard of this farm? They seem to carry a LOT of different breeds of chickens...... I am tempted to meet them up in Plover on the 18th..... They have your SFH too.

I contacted them via e-mail last summer to ask about their SFHs. I got one response after 2 weeks, telling me they did have some for sale, then I replied to pin down details and never heard from them again. Even sent a second e-mail, still no communication. I heard someone say that they do better if you call them instead of e-mail.

I am looking around, trying to get ideas for a bigger coop.

I found a combo greenhouse/shed here:

Does this look like something that could be turned into a coop?
