Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

Thanks chickenscratch Terri O and BBP! Hoping for a dozen to successfully make it!!!

Sorry to hear about the job loss-never seems to make sense how they choose to let someone go then turn around and make a new position :-(

Angie good luck with your hatch. And to everyone else too. Erinnoie Cute chicks ! Love the picture of your daughter with the chick on her shoulder. Cute.

Sorry to all of the new people (at least new since I've been absent) I suffer from CRS (can't remember sh!t) and am bad with names.

Here's photos of the chicks so far, many many more to hatch yet.
These are all BLRW, disregard the larger chick, she's just hanging around to teach the others to eat and drink well. 17 of 23 so far hatched, 2 are pipped and the other 4 look like they are on time instead of early like the rest of these. Today is only day 19 for both of these hatches.

Here are 4 BLRW cross Easter Eggers and 2 Silkie/Cochin/Sussex x BO Bantam, Their are 3 more EE drying in the bator, all of that hatch is done. I culled 2 EE this am as one broke it's leg from being wrapped around anothers ambilical and the other couldn't walk right so instead of trying to doctor like one of the month olds I have here that isn't going so well I just decided it was best.

Great pics Erin!

TO-I do know that it seems fantastic to have weekends off and I will not deny that it is nice. However, I envy those of you with nuclear families. The ex's are a pill for sure, but the conflict that occurs in parenting is more of a problem in my opinion. All in all each side envies the other in some way I guess.

I agree-blended families are beautiful but challenging!

Babylady: Nice removed!!!

SClark Cute chicks-I cant wait it seems like years since Ive had a lil fluffy chick around. Cuteness overload!

Blended families are definitely hard. Right now is a very challenging time in mine as my daughter, DD13, with years of brain washing from her dad, has decided life at dad's will be a cake walk and when she finishes her 8th grade year (next year) wants to move to Maryland. Tell me that's not hard. I have no idea how I'll cope if a judge actually allows it.
But as "they" say we are only given the challenges we can handle....right?
