Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

Morning all and welcome to the lingering newbies!

Sorry to hear your peacock is MIA Frenchie! Hope he still shows up like Jim's puppy.

Cindlady, thanks for the offer of sending it! Gonna take a look on how bad the finances are and let you know. But if you get around to it, you can surely PM me the recipe;)

Just let all the duckies out and have them food and water. Of course the brat is up and not lifting his fingers as he is already having tv in while on the puter. When mentioning that all the coops need to be cleaned he didn't even looks up or say anything. Guess it's all up to me and my broken back again...

Later he's planning on taking his dad (and me? Didn't ask) out for dinner. Supposed to be some sort of payment for hanging out grumpy before? No clue...

Queenie, the new Rouen/Pekin duckling that hatched yesterday, is doing good, enjoying the sing-screaming of the pheasies in the cage under her (only got one heat lamp). Gonna have to figure out where to put her to stay warm.

Susie, my Pekin with bumblefoot gave me an egg this morning and still residing inside in a tub. Can I put regular iodine on her bumbles? I read everywhere that I should put clear one on it but already have the regular stuff. Any ideas?

Oki, gonna head out into the skeeter clouds and better get the stinkies cleaned out. Maybe I can convince the brat to help me finish my other duck house?! Only time will tell...

Hi All!

Bl4.... Sorry about Taffy.

FT... Sorry about your Peacock.

for you and the baby.

Jim... Unsettling seeing that chicken wing I bet!

Wildsam.... The Green Goop is a herbal salve I make. It's a healing salve with great antiseptic,anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties. It heals a great deal of skin problems, wounds, rashes, etc.. I could make the list of what's in it later. I was selling it at the bash for $4 a 2 oz. jar which was about at cost. I make it mostly for family and friends so I only do it about one a year. A couple of tattoo shops would like to carry it but it takes quite a while to make and too much standing for me.

I will still sell some to whoever wants some. I have about 9 left to sell. I think it will cost about $2.75 to ship. If someone is coming to Burlington (or the area) I could hook you up.

Pepper still has 3 chicks left. Jasmine seems to have a little trouble covering all 10 of those Marans eggs. Remember, she's small for a BR.

Night All!

Cind can you hold 3 jars for me. Shouldn't be much more to ship three of them. Let me know then I'll pay pal you. Still would like a list of what is in it. My donkeys legs are getting bit up by flies (their skin is thinner then horses on the lower legs) I've been using my # 5 spray on them which is working real good. I want to give one to my sister to keep at the cabin.

That dog (or whatever it was) was back again! My rooster fought with it all around the yard. It killed one of my cockerels and left it! It took at least one other small bird with it. This is ridiculous! It's on! I'm leaving all the birds locked up and putting out a trail camera. And my husband has volunteered to dot it once we identify what it is and when it's coming around. But wild animals don't leave their kill behind. This was a dog or dogs. Grrrr . . .

I've had 2 daytime fox attacks in the last couple of months, both times there were dead birds left in the yard. Yes we saw the fox, unfortunately it was at the end of the attack. Game cam is a good idea.

good aft.

Jordan and his dad came and did the welding on Ollie.. mounted the new cylinders and hoses , addid a little hyd fluid and voila , I have a tractor with a loader again.. now I can clean out the chicken coops.. and the loader never before went as high as it does now..

still has a bit of air in one cylinder, but it is usable and I will work on the air problem later on..

I have turkeys hatching,, 8 of them the last time I checked.. 95 more to go..

we ended up taking 98 guinea keets out to the brooder pen..

I gave Jordan 16 of the older keets for helping with the tractor.. also gave them a butchered goose ..

the two pieces of toast I had for breakfast are pretty much worn off. I suppose I should go find a pizza or something to eat ..
