Hens ans roos, that is awesome news!
Had a nice day today the bday shindig was good. And we had a nice but short visit with Zeeeek. We sent many chickies his way from the projects we had going together. And only gained one
another super busy day tomorrow!
Jim, did the guy ever show? I am curious about those turkey poults. Scott liked that ad.
Bbp, anything show up on the trail camsntoday? Hope the chickens that were just injured are showing signs of improvement for you.
we have a broody duck. But the mother hen keeps stealing her nest. Cute they sometimes lay on it together lol I think I might give the duck her own quarters. And give her the call eggs. See what comes of them since I can't nget them to hatch in the bator.

Fun day at 4-h. The parents are always kind enough tonlet my kiddos compete this day. Since they try to be patient on all the nights I am training Blake won 1st on the costume contest!

Hi All!

Sclark... Hope Rudy gets over his issues. Could it be he's afraid to go out? Sounds like you got allot of other issues to work out too.

irish..... broodies hate to be moved but most of the time when you do move them and give them a nest with eggs, they will settle down on them. Best time to move them is just before dark, I check after everyone is settled and if she's off nest I put her on. By morning they usually stick.

H&R.... Glad you dad is doing better!

Somethings been bugging me since the bash. It's kinda an ethical dilemma thing for me. We (DH and I) bought 13 tickets for the drawing. Normally I feel in a small group like we had, you (or a couple) should limit yourself to no more than 2 prizes. (Some of you know I did that the year before) Anyway, we wound winning 2 prizes early on. Then the feed came up. I knew I was going to NEED the feed within a day of getting home so I took that too. Then I won the big prize... the pizza cutter! Well, who in their right mind would turn that down! After a few minutes (when people were leaving the area) I realized when I won the feed I should have given back an item, same with the cutter. But I also didn't want to offend the people who brought the first items. Maybe it was Karma kicking my *** when I fell. Would anyone feel bad if I donated the first two items to the next bash? Any other ideas?
