Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

Jim, I know they are seasonal layers. But thought I'd give it a try and see if someone has any left, even if they might be a few months old. Don't hurt, right?!

Wasn't a very good evening. Found our 3 month old Rouen girl with labored and stuffy breathing, again (different duck tho)! And despite ACV and electrolytes and polysol she passed. :( I sure would like to know just WHAT they get into to end up like that?! It's the 3rd one this year and I still have no clue. Online I only found info on Asper and gape worm. Maybe even pneumonia. But all others sharing the same condo and enclosures are fine. Since we don't have any avian knowledgable vets around I'm kinda stumped on that on. Anyone have any ideas and maybe treatment suggestions? Sounds like clicking first, then worsens to very throaty breathing and you can hear mucus/liquidy rasps when they try to clear their throat. They pass with their head bent backwards and sideways...

Yup. Been raining here good since at least 5am. Been soaked twice so far while taking care of everyone outside. I see an end to it on the radar but I'd rather wait and see. Not trusting much here on forecasts. Too much wrong.

Alrighty now. Packing up then taking the dogs out one last time and heading to town for the next coupla days. Relaxation time. And brat is just getting ready to leave too! Yeay!

Hey guys!! Guess what Scott did.....!

I will be meeting them half way as I would have to drive over 6 hours one way to pick them up.
