Now to top the great things that keep happening to me, in the mail a letter from my home owners insurance they are dropping me as of Dec 1st. I'm sure this has to do with me filing a claim and it's just lovely when it's the only insurance co that would even insure my "farm" in the first place. Gah!

Cleaned out all the brooders and built a new one in the garage and keeping the fresh ones in the house until they are a week or so old. I can't stand this dust everywhere in my room, I'm sure my laptop will get sick of it and crash out on me sometime.

No word from feed rep today. Taking the feed samples to Rice Lake tomorrow for them to test.

Happy news....the lav orp from cc has started laying again! A whooping 2 whole eggs today.
