Well, Judi and I went to the Mexican Restaurant and had a great meal and huge drinks. Our reservations for 13 turned into 2, so kind of embarrassing. I guess I won't be trying to do anything like that again. But we had a good time with just the two of us. And we had a delicious meal on or way home. Just off of 94 there's a little 50's themed restaurant. I had the "Great Balls of Fire" sandwich. It was spicy breaded chicken, lettuce, bacon, tomatoes, pepper jack and cheddar cheese, onions and chipotle sauce. I wish I knew the name of the place.

Heck after the 18 oz daiquiri wasnt a whole lot of embarrassment left LOL And I think our lunch spot was Joe's Diner? Mel's Diner? Hmmmmm
There was mis communication otherwise Delish would have joined us. Not sure how her birds did as we didn't stay till the very end (4 hr drive home). I still had a blast (heck when there is chickens, alcohol and no work, can't help but have fun!)

Cool pic, Ang & BBP. That is awesome! Sorry to hear that the dinner party fell through. I wouldn't feel embarrassed about it, though. Sometimes it is a relief to the staff when they don't have to scramble to get tables moved for a large group. As long as you had a good time, that is all that really matters, right?

Cold front came through about a 1/2 hour ago. Wow, what a temperature difference! Tomorrow sounds to be quite chilly. Yuck. I'm ready for a few more months of summer.

Found it! I would definitely eat there again. Fast service, good food, good atmosphere and a huge chicken right out front.

FYI BBP and I live like 5 mins apart and see each other regularly LOL shes my chicken guru who dishes out great advice regularly and a great friend as well!! (Did I mention a chicken enabler as well? Yes I came home with a cute lil SLW from Delish who is quarantined all by herself...poor thing! but what a friendly lil chick)
