Just had my piece of pie. I like that GF crust recipe...it was still not soggy today! All the extra work must have been worth it. I am going to try a fruit pie next time--we will see!

Terri, send me that recipe. My BIL loved my crust, but it does not meet my expectations. I am super picky too though!

Yep, belated Happy Thanksgiving to everyone on this thread...busy hunting and processing the deer. Wrapped 64 lbs of burger...ended up with 10 meals of loins and 15 meals of steaks...back in the woods tomorrow for time afield.

the plucker is finished.. again I did not have the camera with me,, Annie hid it when company was coming,, not just the camera,, all the paper and notes I had on the kitchen table HAD to be out of sight for company .. of course she didn't tell me where she put anything ..

but all is back to normal now,, company is gone,,

for some reason the camera card is not coming up on my computer..
I will have to see what-up wid dat ..

well we have a new group of Cali kits- our 1st doe had her babies last night/early this morning- 3 of 4 from what I could feel. She was actually okay with me checking this time around in the past it took a week before we could check. Our other doe did kindle as well but they didn't make it...not sure why.....

ended up going out today to 2 stores....Farm & Fleet had the bagged shavings we use on sale(about half the regular cost) and ended getting shoes for the kids....craziness for sure. DD ended up with a pair of boots she liked so all is good! they didn't even complain when I told them we were cleaning pens this afternoon

H&R, I give the mommas a little treat so they are busy eating while we check the babies. Sorry about the other litter.
We once rescued a bunch of bu nies from a gal. The males were ripping eachother s boy parts! And they had no idea they had boys and girls together. We wound up with one that had the kits a couple days after coming. And they were still born. Sad.

We do...that still didn't make a difference to her! The kids let me check her....

. We got her as an adult, we've noticed that the ones we raise from baby on are easier to work with and just fine with us checking their babies.
