We are very sad about Zeek. The kids and I have been talking about all of our favorite things about him. He will be tremendously missed.

My heart just hurts for his family...I really enjoyed seeing him at swaps and especially when he was the "surprise guest" at camp last year...Derek and I are so very sad.

before you build, I would like to see your plans,

I have the side view almost done...however I am going to change a couple of things....not sure to what yet..still trying to figure out the turner..(either a power antenna for a car, or a auger motor, or a rotisserie motor..)many different ways just not sure which will fit my needs...so this time it might be manually...which will give me time to experiment on the different types of turners...
had a nice day....hope everyone else did....got the base on the four new coops done...tommarow I shall build walls, put wire up and put the doors in and then transfer the birds to the proper spot

I did the breakdown on what my bator wood need...1300 watts to make it efficient....on the size I want...so I will be downsizing a bit....

How terrible. I am so sorry for his family.

What I have gathered from the news articles is the force of the explosion caused the door of the smoker to hit him in the head. Instantaneous; he never knew.

thanks for the article,, what I relayed was not quite on the money,, I relayed what his daughter told me, and she was quite shaken up..

I am really going to miss our phone conversations.. I talked to him just last Thursday,,
He always said that he wanted to smoke a guinea..

He did show up at one of the bashes for a while; on a Friday I think..
