Hey everyone, just wanted to let people on this Wisconsin forum know that I've been looking for one of those old galvanized nest boxes, usually see them in banks of 8 or 10 boxes. There aren't any on Craigslist in my area, but I'll be down at the operating engineers training center in Coloma for the next couple weeks if anyone knows where there is one for sale down that way.

I just checked in the Wausau Craig's List,,,,Farm and Garden section.. there are two of them listed..

a nine hole 3 x 3 stacked
and an eight hole side by side..

this spring I want to raise about 100 cornish x rocks for the freezer..

I would like to use shrink wrap bags..

does anybody know where I can get these bags at a more reasonable price than the chicken supply catalogs offer ?

I'm getting the flock tested next week and the tester wants to know my premise ID. Do any of you have one? Who issues them? Any info would be appreciated.

Sorry, no. I just got into chickens this past summer late. I am just in it for the eggs at the moment. I am looking for some EE or Olive Eggers and something that maybe will give me some blues.
