good wintery type morning,
I didn't go out yet, just opened up the door and heard the wind and felt the cold. I was going to go out and drag a section of lawn that I want to smooth out. but it can wait for a nicer day.

has anybody ever used an adjustable V Belt ? I was looking at them on u tube. they look neat, and that is what I will need if ever one of my belts fail on Ollie. Otherwise I will have to half disassemble my hydraulic system to get a belt on.

I got the new alternator installed yesterday. I hope it does more than just tension the v belt ..

Cold Morning here too! It's hard to say if that fox is a grey fox or a cross fox with the black and white pic...however cross fox are more common. I'm also not sure if the fox took the rooster? I'm betting on a bobcat being able to carry a heavy bird that easy. I've had them carry off full grown brahmas with me in pursuit, during the daytime...they can cover 20 acres in seconds, and always got away. Badger sightings are actually quite rare in the badger state.

I have seen only one badger in my long life, and it was a road killed one, on old hwy 51 between Rothschild and Mosinee.

Only one I have ever seen wild was roadkill on my way home from Minneapolis last weekend.
Bobcats are often only 15-18 lbs. BUT my Dad traps in Da U.P. and ever few years gets one over 40lbs a few in the 45-48 range,........

too nasT to go outside, so I mixed up a batch of dough and the cinnamon rolls are now cooling on the counter.
and the beef roast is in the oven.

I am getting hungry, might have to eat a roll so I can live until supper time.

we have mostly red foxes nearby, but not too many miles away I have seen a silver fox. it was no doubt an escapee from the Fromm fur farm.
