Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

I have a Taurus 9mm for my cc. Perfect fit for me.

Jarred up 21 quarts and 1 pint (mil found some pint jars) of spaghetti sauce today. Stove looks empty with nothing on it tonight but I am sure it won't last long.

Trapping class today...tomorrow it will be in the rain I'm bettin. I prefer the S&W M&P full size, It's Made in America and a lifetime warranty and shoots well right out of the box. What caliber did you purchase cw ? I prefer 40cal.

The gardens here are keeping us busy as heck....gotta love harvest season.

I just went with the standard 9mm. Cheap to shoot and always available. My wife has a 9 mm too for her carry gun so it'll be nice to have the same rounds. I was going to get a Ruger commander in a 45acp but it was much heavier and only available with right hand controls. I opted for a no safety due to being left handed. Next up is the ar build!

Quote: My youngest DD has a 44 revolver she acquired from her BIL in lieu of some money borrowed. she would have to carry two purses if she used it for CC. last fall she bought a small ,38.
good for short range .. I shot it at 25 feet and it was accurate enough.. you definately need ear protection with it..

I love my 44. It's a Ruger super RedHawk with the 9.5" barrel. Defiantly not a carry gun by any means. And yes to the ear protection. It's insane loud to shoot without

Back from trapping class just now. It was fun for sure, and hopefully tomorrow we will finish early. We skinned and fleshed a otter, bobcat, coon, and muskrat....set traps in water and on land...plus went through the regulations.

Yep, I always wear ear muffs when shooting handguns of any caliber....even my .17hmr......the M&P model I have, has no safety either.

soon you can become one more of those frustrated individuals who will never trap as many animals as it takes to break even.

Good Sunday to you Jim. Been busy as heck here...just finished canning another 21 quarts of V8.....I'm gonna share prolly 2 bushels of really nice maters to suzies uncle. I picked easily 5 bushel and don't need them all....he has a big garden and the seeds that were suppose to be bigboy, turned out to be cherry maters....thus no juice maters for canning for him.....he doesn't know it yet, but the offer in a couple days should make him happy? He is the best person and always willing to help you out....hope it's my turn to return favors of the past. I thought my crop wasn't gonna be that great, but it turned out better than last year.
