Many people near us use old farm equipment as yard art but I'm not sure what it goes for. What do you figure you'd get as scrap?

I couldn't even begin to guess. I was always just really curious because they were indeed yard art when I bought this house. I also have a old single horse drawn plow blade by my fire pit. And wooden wagon wheels at the ends of the driveway. I'm kinda curious on all of it to be honest. It' kinda takes up prime real estate but I manage.

Corey, a few years back I had a few of those diggers. some working , some not.
I sold all of them and I got a lot more than scrap price for them.

I missed out on buying one from up around Ladysmith. A guy from somewhere around Oshkosh beat me out. He paid $700.oo for it and still had to travel to pick it up.

lots of people use those old relics for "lawn art" ..

Holy crap that's a lot a lot more than I would have even guessed someone would pay. Maybe if times ever get tough I can live a month off them lol. Got the lawn mowed. Coop cleaned. New flag flying on the pole. Dishes done. And drawers clear coated. Now what.

Oh and I forgot dinner in the crock pot. Not bad for being up since yesterday at 2 in the afternoon and working all night.

Just ended up with 80 pounds of tomatoes. It's pretty late but I'm gonna start my salsa adventure. Wish me luck....going on 30 hours

good pregame evening,

I might have to take a nap before the game starts.

Nephew Dan did show up and stuck with me until all the brush piles got picked up and hauled to the burn pile.

I took some "before" pictures , now I am ready for the "after" pictures.

the chicks are done hatching, Jordan will be coming in about an hour to get some.. I hatched them for a 50/50 split on whatever hatched..
