good evening,

we just got the call. Ken died at about 5 PM. right after they moved him from ICU to the hospice unit..
He had his family with him..

I got a good start on cleaning the coop.
I have one of the incubators in the loader bucket. Hosed it off and out.. tomorrow I will go at it with soap and water, then a good bleaching and into storage until next spring.
by then the electronics should be dry ..

if you lose the big font, usually by backing up, just to to the end of your last line typed and pick it up again..

Ken had a bear collection.. hundreds of them. all sizes and shapes.. funny thing though.. he was afraid of real bears..
I doubt that he ever saw one in the wild ..

Pack plays at noon today.. I am going to watch one more time.. if they disappoint me again, I will find other things to do in the future.. I don't mind them losing, but I do mind the lack of effort and interest ..

I had to laugh at the Dem marchers.. didn't they pay attention in school ? we were all told that the popular vote didn't always get the nod.. why are they so surprised ??
If it would have been the other way around, they would have accepted it..
do you know why the GOP wouldn't march if they lost that way ?? because they all had to go to work ..

good afternoon, surprised I can say that after watching most of the Packer game, I just couldn't take it any more.

I didn't get anything done today,, I did hose down the incubator again. the overnight soak loosened most of whatever was stuck on, I don't think I will have to scrub too hard on it tomorrow..

there is one hen still running loose. egg production doesn't seem to be down, so I am guessing she is one of the free loaders.. she will not be put back into the coop .

today I cut about 2 dozen nice elderberry scions.
I didn't trim on the bush too much.
I left plenty of growth for next years berries..
tomorrow is official yard pick up and get ready for snow day.
