We're in the 60's today but supposed to get snow again on Friday. Saw a message on a business sign on Monday. I'm through with winter, next season please. I agree.

Hey, all! Posting to say hi from the Driftless!! First time chicken farmer here... My new gals are a week old. I'm excited to see them grow. Then, we've got more coming in July (the kiddos picked some rather expensive, less common varieties of course that needed to be ordered online). I've already found so much great info on this site for raising chicks, integrating new chicks, and cold weather specific tips. Feeling very well prepared for this new adventure!

Welcome to our group FarmBurl!!!! New chickens are really exciting to watch. I get a new batch Wednesday the 21st and can't wait. Ditto on the request for pictures!
