Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

Ah, the Wisconsin thread finally cropped up enough for me to find it! :gig
How are you all? Having a good summer? I wish we had higher 80's instead of these 70's.

Howdy Cyprus!
Wish granted for this weekend. Sounds like the higher 80s and 90s are on the way, at least down in my part of the state! :thI prefer the 70s.

Sorry to hear that you don't like the higher temps :) I hope you won't bake.

If anyone is interested in an almost perfect black Sumatra rooster PM me.
I will send pictures. He is available for sale after July 15. Free OBO.
Maximum 10 hour drive. Use Milwaukee for reference.

I am posting for a friend. This and my age prevent me from making a listing in BST so here and some of my threads will really be the only place where this ad is listed on this site.

this morning I started Ollie up. no bees. I drove him to the far side of the trees. just in case any bees survived my onslaught .
I got most of the sticks and branches picked up. just a couple of rows of trees to clean up.
then I have to trim some low hanging branches so I don't poke my eyes out while mowing.

We are almost done milling all of the trees we cut down. There are piles in 3 different spots. He can't come back until the middle of August to finish. We have some big poplar boards and lots of pine and oak. I don't think they even did anything with the hickory or walnut yet. It's a pretty interesting process. Lots of work, that's for sure. And then a long wait time for it to dry.
