Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

I cleaned my coop today and got ready for the negative temps. AND I trimmed my pig's feet. Poor Alice had hooves that were getting out of control. I just got her drunk and took the goat hoof shears to her. Worked perfectly.

I hope miss piggy doesn't wake up with a headache..
back in the day there were lots of drunk pigs. the moon shiners fed the mash to them to get rid of the evidence, .
when we were kids we fed beer to a duck. funny to watch .. but he died the next day.. whoops !!

When our Irish Setter was a pup, he would steal DH's beer bottle and try to lick the last drops of beer out of them (DH only set the beer bottle on the floor when it was empty). When the dog got older, he didn't like beer anymore, but would try to steal drinks of whiskey out of my glass ...
:duc:rolleyes::barnie
Nothing more appetizing than dog drool down the side of the glass ...

poor dog,
whoops, I just re read the post,
I missed "dog" before "drool"..
nevermind...

I braved the cold and took the belt cover off of the scooter. the bendix was in there. I took the bendix into the house and took it all apart.. cleaned it real good and put it back together.. now I have to wait for a warmish day to put it back..

DH has both tractors set-up - WITHOUT the front loader buckets!! How does he expect me to haul coop cleanings without a front loader on at least one of the tractors?
I AM Not going back to the wheelbarrow process at this point.

I guess that with the 3" to 6" snow forecast, he is forgiven for having the snowblower on my tractor. But he really needs to get the pallet forks off the big toy, and put the bucket back on. I have 2 coops to clean, and I want to get to the meaty pen before it freezes solid in the barn for the rest of the winter.
