If anybody wants to be really kind to me, you could bring a fist full of hardwood cutting from a cherry tree for me..
It doesn't have to be from your own tree.
I will accept any that you can steal from a neighbor's tree during the night..
let me know and I can tell you how to take the cuttings. very easy.. I posted some directions on the bash thread..
I have my white elephant item picked out.

Not going to make the bash this year, I get to chaperone my son's trip to Chicago. We won't be getting back till late Friday night.
I have potatoes and turnips up but not growing very fast.

Another chilly day here. Hope some year soon, some of you can make the bash.
Down at Camp and cut the grass today for the folks that will be there....my grass here is twice as long, but I like rustic and the chickens enjoy the easy finds that the longer grass provides.
Enjoy the cool weather now while it's here...

Kinda funny watching all the folks at the kwik trip today going north from the south...they all are wearing shorts in our balmy 54 degree weather here.... hope they brought some jeans along too.
