The car we redid needed so many different types of clips and connectors( it was crazy). I have been getting 3 eggs every 3 -4 days. Although i think i got a chicken going broody again she keeps sleeping in the nesting box but getting out during the day. The weather has been nice during the day but to cold in the early morning and late night.

Winter weather on way, stay safe

I dont know if we are getting any in the SW yet but hope everyone stays safe.

we ended up with just a little snow after the rain.
just enough to show cat tracks up to the door.
he probably smelled the turkey bones Annie
had set on top of the dumpster by the door.
He loves turkey. He also cleans up the cat food
she puts out for him. do you suppose he has help?
there is a red squirrel hanging out in the pines and apple tree.
I am debating whether to put the back blade onto Ollie.
I use it mostly for the counterweight. If we get deep snow,
I might regret not having it on.
the car is tucked safely in the garage, nice to not have
to brush snow or scrape windows.

well, I didn't get the back blade on. and I didn't
add any oil to the transmission. too cold to fight
with the rusted on drain plug. it is in an awkward
spot. I will give it another shot on a warmer day.
or maybe pull Ollie into the garage and turn on
an electric heater.
winter sure didn't sneak in slowly, did it?

We didnt get any snow. But its been super windy and cold. Its reached 0 degeees already.

I figured out how to get the square pipe plug out.
Took a 1/2" drive socket and put the drive hole over the
square plug. put an extension through the business
side of the socket and into the drive hole. turned it
with a ratchet and it came right out.
I think a 11/16" 12 point socket might work, too.
Later this week I will add hyd fluid to the transmission.

We are getting snow now. Its actually nicer outside though.
