And a nice fall shot of the coop

I tilled up my run yesterday and feathers everywhere. I'm still getting 4-8 eggs a day.
I really like your coop on wheels. Before I built mine I was looking at doing the same.
I also took advantage of a really sunny and not windy day and put up my plastic.
I should be able to keep reusing it as long as I take care in taking it down in the spring.

Thanks! Our coop is a prefab shed built onto a on hay wagon running gear. Super easy to move it around, which prevents the chooks from killing the grass. We use Premier1 electric fencing to keep the chickens in and the varmints out. 🙂 We splurged and put remote doors from Chicken Run on too.

just checking in. no news here.
I hope we all are ready for the snow season.
I am not.
I am going to use one of these cold days to make some saurkraut. just a five pound batch. my first attempt.
Im not ready for snow either.
Although it says snow is expected by Tuesday
