How I know the loss of a favorite bird......
Just remember, Dr Ha Ha, YOU gave Peaches that second chance. If you wouldn't have bought him from me in the first place, he would have been dead here with my dog attack. I know how you feel about wanting revenge. I can SSSOOOOO relate. I still think that some day that dog will come back. And now I NEVER leave my birds to free range when I'm not home or going to be outside much. I'm just too scared. And I know that no other bird will replace Peaches. He deffently had his own personality. One of a kind.
I have other roos for you if you want. But none look or act like him really. But you are welcome to come over and look when and if you are ever ready. But MAYBE...if you have eggs at this time you could try incubating them now. I believe that the eggs coould be fertile up to 3 weeks. Maybe you'd get a "new and improoved" Peaches. And if YOU didn't want to incubate them and/or aren't set up with the turner and junk....I would be more than happy to do it for you. Just let me know. Maybe we can right this tragic wrong.
