darn, it's nice to be appreciated! haha! Oh, and yes, that is my BELOVED Rachel Ray cookware. Anything green, I have to have it! These stoneware dishes are AWESOME.

More in the morning, going to lay in bed and watch some TV!

Good Morning to all! Raiquee when I saw the last pic it made me think of 4 sumo wrestlers facing off in a cage fight. That looks absolutely scrumptious! Afterwards a piece of TO's pie. I'd have to be rolled away from the table.

cL your in the right place for that. Hope you find us helpfull in your quest! Amy these potty training stories are killing me. A guy I used to work with told the story of his youngest DD getting up off the potty chair and turning around and looking into it and said Oh My!

Yup TO there's times you have to wonder how they manage to breath by themselves.

Bigz I know I seem to complain about all the work but I'm not. I catch myself smiling, humming or even attempting to sing all the while I'm doing it. Making pickles, pickled peppers, and cole slaw today. Hum Hum Hum! But the thing that I'm really eggscited about is the turner is coming out today. Have 8 eggs that were started at the same time and 5 more that were put in up to 3 days later.

Welcome countryLisa- where is SE wi are you looking. I'm in Dodge county and could keep an eye out for you.
Busy day, have to go school supply shopping and clothes shopping. I really don't like shopn. But I get to go to fleet farm and get new supplies for my quail.

The more I read about them the better they seem. Amyable- I have my fingers crossed for you, I remember with my oldest beening 4weeks left and it was 90 outside. It sucked, my sympathy. Well gotta go!

Good morning all. Going to Lake Emily this afternoon with BL4 and kids. Yea! Swimming!

Beckyschicks, I have just the bobwhites. But I love quail! They seem to be simple to raise but as for hatching.....not that great of hatch rates. But I know you'll love them too.

You guys are ALL making me hungry! What a great looking pie Terri. Next time you come up, you'll have to bring one. Payment for using the pet crate?????

And I use Off- smooth & dry. Works AWESOME!!! http://www.off.com/mosquito-repellent/ I know I don't havve the extreme problem with skeeters that most of you have. I am very lucky! But I use this when I go to our friends that has a severe problem with skeeters and it really does work. Give it a try!

Good morning! FM--that repellent looks good. Maybe I will have to try it. I did find some more Deep Woods Off but now it only has 98% Deet--what gives? The problem I have with it is that as soon as you start to sweat it seems to run right off! It worked OK for about 20 minutes and then BAM--instant blood loss!

I slept in until nearly 9:30 today!

Sleeping didnt go to well last night...I am stuck at home today so I need to get moving on stuff. DD took the car to work--not that that is going to make me feel like doing anything....my house was beautiful when I left on Sunday--now it is trashed again! It NEVER ends!

I am right here in the heart of SE WI countryLisa...there is a lot of stuff for sale here! Only problem is you have to be willing to pay an arm and a leg for it or have a really large savings to make repairs! Be sure you check out taxes as part of your research!

Well--I do believe I will have another cup and check out the boards...started this late, no sense getting in a rush now is there?

fm that was the first thing I did after the java fix. Sadly only 3 out of the 13 have chicks in them so there's still hope!

Did my mountain of dishes from yesterdays endeavors and it took a few minutes for it to sink in. The tongs I use to retrive the colander from the boiling water were in need of tightening and my hands seemed to have gotten to point of being blanched. Put them in the hot dish water and thought what the heck? Too much steam on them. Tightened up the pivot point on them to be able to keep my hands out of the way. Eggs are in the bator, dishes are done and the slaw is in the fridge. Preliminary taste test was MMMM MMM that's going to be good on top of a burger or just stuffed in your face. One more testament to hard work and good livin! It keeps coming back to me. How in the H E double hockey sticks did Gma do all of this and so much more in one day? No wonder she's gone. I put in well over 10 hrs yesterday bustin butt yesterday and close to that or more for the last 4 months. Hum Hum Hum

Takin a break and then peppers and pickles. Then dishes, collect eggs, get the mail, and.... drink beer. Man this is a good union!!!

DrH--you crack me up...I sure wish I was a beer drinker still. Every time I read about it I want one so bad! Good think I dont have a car today...off I'd go to the gas station to procure one (or several). Nothing like a cold beer on a hot day! OK--that is why g'ma got so much done doncha know? She didnt drink beer!

Terri O--moving off the 'puter now to make rolls and venison stew...WHAT are you NUTS? (unfortunately the answer is YES)

TO I'm just reciprocating the laughter. Yes the beer does make things slow down a bit maybe gma shoulda drank. Then I could give her a hug, some loaves of my bread, canned goods, eggs, and a huge thank you for all the delishious meals she put before us. And for her patience for putting up with a very very naughty child. Too bad it took all these years to realize that. Glad your nuts it makes me feel better! Brine is warming up along with the water bath gotta go!

Good afternoon everyone! Well, TO, you are nuts. It's crazy muggy gross hot out right now. Me and DH went to a few greenhouses/nurserys. I almost died! Only found a nice looking concord grape vine, no cherry trees. Clearly everyone had the same idea as me to wanting cherry trees this year! Sheesh! They did have some nice blueberry plants, but they had a mass amount of them, and they were only 20% off. I want to wait and see if I can get them cheaper!

I want to go in the garden and plant it, but I may die by death of skeeters. They are crazy in the weed garden, I take one step and 3850952095230 million of them fly up into my face!

Makes me not want to step into the garden at all!

Just asked the sitter if we could rent out part of her pasture for sheeps/ducks. She said she doesn't see why not, but I don't think shes taking me seriously!

I really want some ducks though! She says her dog would eat the ducks tho, so I'd have to configure a coop/pen. I'm kinda excitied guys!

Off to run and read up on ducks somemore!

Hey everyone. I was wondering if someone here can let me know of places to go in WI that are climate controlled(air conditioning) and fun for the whole family. I can't go too far from my place.. 2-3 hours tops. My hubby doesn't want to go to the Mall of America. but it's mostly for my dad and the kids. we were going to do the zoo but he can't handle the humidity at this point. is there an indoor zoo or aquarium(other than the MOA)?
