Ok thanks for the added information. I am willing to have my birds tested but I CAN'T have anything with my address or people coming to inspect my house because my chickens are technically illegal. I got them after I was told by multiple sources that they were allowed and then found out the aren't unless I get written permission from the chief of police and I tried but they kept making me jump through hoops. I did everything they asked and then they said I needed written permission along with names, addresses, and phone numbers from ALL of my neighbors. Well I live near many elderly people that are never home or don't answer their doors and after trying for over a month to get in contact with them I gave up and renovated my basement into an indoor chicken coop. It was MUCH more costly and a lot more work but I think it's worth it. I plan to attempt to get permission again in the Spring but for now I have to "hide" them. I want to move them to outdoor coops at my grandmothers land but I don't have enough time or money to run there and back everyday to check on them so it would be a pain.
